First drawing tablet?

Hello everyone, I am wanting to start learning and practicing to draw so I was hoping to get suggestions on what tablet to get.

My budget is around $500usd and I'm looking for a standalone tablet that I can take with me and use whenever. I see a bunch of stuff about the iPads but everything else I use is windows so I'd prefer to stick with that.

Using WhatsApp as default messaging

Has anyone set up their phone to use WhatsApp as their default messeging app?

I know that your not able to change the settings so that all your calls and messages go directly to WhatsApp but I saw that there are AutoForwarding apps that will do it for you.

Has anyone used something like that before? How well does it work?

Card explanation

Can anyone explain how this card works? Do both effects only trigger if you haven’t played any cards yet or only the first effect?

My understanding was that each effect had a different trigger but when I tried to play this card in the simulator, it did nothing.

I had a chikipi and 2 lamballs on my field so I should have met the requirements to give them +1000 power and +5 strike.

My first hits!

Was finally able to get my hands on the decks, a booster box and a few packs. Just wanted to share my hits, loving it so far! Been watching everything on how to play for my first locals tonight.

Getting started

This is the first tcg i’ve started learning how to play and was curious about the Legends.

I’ve seen all of the ranking/tier list for the different Legends, but how much does that really matter and is it that much of a difference between the different cards?

I’m not interested in doing the whole “Meta” route, I just want to have fun and play with the cards I enjoy looking at but i’d also like to not consistently lose.

Non-Game Trading Cards

Hello everyone, I want to start collecting cards and am trying to figure out if what i’m after is out there.

I’m not interested in the game aspect of all these TCG’s. I really like how borderless, full art cards look without all the text/HP/Mana stats. Especially the foil/holo versions.

I really like the brightness and art style of Pokemon, Elestras, and Riftbound. I also like the creature art of Mtg, Sorcery, and F&B. I’m not really interested in any sport or movie trading cards.

Are there any non-game trading cards in those style/theme that I can look into? Or do I just need to buy the Tcg’s and hope I get borderless cards? I do want to be able to buy packs and open them myself so i’m not interested in buying singles.

Best Art TCG

I decided that I want to start collecting cards and have realized that there are a lot more than I ever thought.

I’m not interested in actually playing, just collecting cool cards for the artwork.

I’m planning to start with Pokemon since that is familiar and I like the type of art they have(shiny/holo/reflective/colorful). I was wondering what other TCG’s have awesome artwork? I’ve seen some of MTG and some anime style ones but there seems to be a plethora of options.

Let me know what you would suggest I look into.

EDIT: Thanks for all the suggestions! I’ll be looking into all of them. I am wondering where you all usually buy your packs and boxes? I went to Target, Walmart, and Walgreens today and had no luck finding any cards.

Galaxy Fold Split Screen

Hello everyone, I am looking at moving from iPhone to a Galaxy Fold 7 or 8 when it comes out. I saw that you can split screen Pokemon Go with it. I was curious if anyone can give me their experience playing like that.

What’s the battery life like?

How hot does the phone get?

Does the game crash?

I am not a hardcore player or anything, mainly just go walk around for an hour or two a day then check if anything spawned when i’m sitting around. I do currently live in Florida though so it gets hot outside.
