Do +1+1 stay on this artifact?

Hello,

I am working on a Szarel deck with a handfull of creatures who do different things when getting stronger like [[Indoraptor, Perfect Hybrid]] , [[gleeful arsonist]] etc

i just love the idea of having a spaceship titanic kamikaze bomb! So i can say Paint me Like one of your French bitchez with My Heart Will Go On playing in the background when destroying my enemy.

but do +1+1 stay on this card when it changes from artifact into creature into artifact etc etc?

Szarel deck with the idea of making 'timebombs' strong

The Deck

It's a bit of a silly deck, just hoping to get one of the 'timebombs' and get them strong asap , or the commander.

Playtesting it feels so.. clunky. hoping for tips to have this deck go smoother

i like the idea of the deck a lot, but not experienced enough to know what to change now

Noob with Red/Blue deckbuilding: Stella Lee, Wild Card

Hello,

I am working on my Stella Lee, Wild Card deck:
https://archidekt.com/decks/23761530/stella_lee_wild_card

i have mostly creature type decks, or simple playstyles like enchantment focused, +1+1counter focused

i went through my cards and just had a lot of luck with pulling good blue/red spells from boosters , enough to order a stella lee and trying to make it work

but man o man, when i look in the mirror i see someone who sucks galaxy hard at building this type of deck.

Any tips on what to add to have a nice B3 to B4 deck?

those who play Energy decks, is it fun?

Hello,

as a mostly creature type deck person i want something completely different to spice up my mtg experience

A friend has a tap-deck, another focusses on +1+1 counters and another has Flubs the 30 hour per round fool , all very nice different decks but i dont want to have the same type of strat deck

then i saw Energy decks, and it look interesting but is it fun? To play with and to play against?

What is your experience?

Pest Control, worth it or not?

I am having this card in my shopping card for.. months actually

A friend has a damn damn powerful token deck and thought to get this in the sideboard , but its not really a cheap card just to snipe one specific deck

So i wanted to ask, people who play this card, is this good in general or did it more often make you cut your own fingers?

What is your experience?

Xenomorph / Alien movie idea

It's a documentary style movie , humans transformed (over many many years) a dwarf planet into a place for the Xenomorph to life naturally. To learn from this organism but also it has become an near exstinct species.

A network of camera's , logging equipment etc have become jammed (mostly because of the growth of trees, flora fauna etc)

Scientists use this chance to combine fixing the problem with a direct documentary.

It's filmed in a style like District 9 , ofcourse there will be a massive twist , making sure the Xenomorph become once again an underestimated powerhouse/threat

Or maybe the Xenomorph somehow were able to make a distress signal , pretending to be humans in communication so they could ambush a resque crew , that the ones who are observed become the observers

anyway, a documentary style Xenomorph movie would be so. freaking. epic

Now i hope some talented movie maker with budget is going to 'steal' this idea

Could not find the right subreddit.. sorry if this doesnt fit here: What is a good book, youtube channel etc for wanting to start getting better with making good dishes?

Hello,

I was looking for a more fitting subreddit but failed to find one, then again its probably here where proper advice to build up a strong basic understanding of making good dishes is to be found easily.

I grew up in a rather, lets say low effort family. Cooking / meals also were victim of this. I am discovering i like making nice meals and i am just messing and experimenting around. But its a bit too random..

I am lacking some stuff like , eh, 'science' and logics that are not made by gut feelings. Like how fatty and sour mix, the effects of oil vs butter etc etc etc

but man the youtube infected with clickbait crap and what now, i dont know what is a proper good way to learn to basics. I hope to find advice here from those with experience.

or maybe there is a subreddit for starting amateurs like me?

Thank you so much!

How many decks do you have and how many feels like "too much" ?

Hello,

i play commander about 2x a month and i love making decks, ii like keeping fine tuning the dekcs i have or have them work by switching around 15 cards plus the commander etc.

Right now i have 5 decks which, with little effort change (like swapping Zask with Grist for my insect deck, not a huge difference but still nice to be able to change a deck easily)

My goal was to make 6 decks max (and all of them can have their commanders swapped so a 'new' deck is different but still rhymes with my chosen theme so it feels like 12 decks, if that makes sense)

but now.. and probably a very well known experience: I have so many good and fun cards. could make so many decks!

But when i imagine having like... 24 decks.. nah i wont play them all, i wont be able to learn what to change etc, the commitment to a deck will lose and with it a certain essential thrill

So i come with the question to experienced players: How many decks is you absolute max? What would you reccomend?

Currently i base my decks mostly on the duo lands i have

Question about Sauron

Hello,

I am not well known with the deeper lore of Lotr so i have come with a question to the place where those with proper knowledge are: r/lotr

Did Sauron know that the One Ring could only be destroyed with the lava of Mount Doom?
And if so, why was there zero walls/doors/fences/security guards etc placed around Mount Doom?

Heck even making fake entrences with booby traps would have been awesome.

Is it different in the books?

Captain Hindsight thoughts

Like many this whole Bricks and Mini Figs story is just fascinating to follow.

Captain Hindsight thoughts are ofcourse common with these type of stories but i am curious about your takes.

My thought was that Ben should have come to that store with a bunch of nice Lego sets, then ask questions on how that process goes, getting as much info that supports this Star Wars case. Be a Troyan Horse instead of ramming the door with facts.

Champ-Augments reaching 3 star more difficult now?

Note: This is no toxic infused post but simply honest curiousity
its probably a coincidence but i have to ask:

How often were you unable to roll that final champ to 3 star your augment champ? (Jax, Leona etc)

i have like a 70% rate of:
2 star with 2x one star on the bench.

and thats about 20 games of picking whatever champ augment (not 3 and 5 costs included)

in other sets it was never this high of an amount. Sometimes i would complain in chat about this just to let out a bit of frustration and other players would say they have the same experience. (note: complain is not like a toxic way, just like Darn this and that)

So i was wondering if i am simply having bad luck or do other players experience the same?

Is Stella Lee a fun commander to play with And to play against?

After having some luck with a lot of good red/blue cards fitting Stella i thought: why not pick this commander?

I have no experience with Blue/Red , it this a fair/fun card within bracket 3 leaning 4?

Looking for Game ender tips.

Hello,

We (friends and myself) play 2x a month commander for 2-3 years now and our decks have become bit by bit fine tuned-ish for a level around Bracket 3 leaning 4 sometimes. Our games are now taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r , which is fun but also can also get not fun at all at one point.

We have decided we need to get game enders, not something that will break the game but maybe 1 to 2 game enders per deck. While they are being creative and found great game enders i am a bit struggling/doubting what to do. My question is, what are good game enders for these commanders/themes?

What i have fixed now:
Clavileno Vampire Deck - Bloodletter of Aclazotz and the Bloodthirsty Conq. + Vito combo.
Vampire
Eriette of the charmed apple deck - Works like a charm
Eriette, will update soon

But i am struggling with:
Varina the Lich Queen zombie deck
Varina Zombie deck
Zask the amazing insect (I am thinking about Triumph of the Hordes , but need a second ender or maybe something that could tutor this ender?)
Zask the good boi

Honestly i dont know what will be overpowered and what will be still nice to play with
