Cicero, Tully and Augustus

Wdyt of Cicero, Tully and Augustus? Seperately lol not as a sibset haha

Cicero was a name Ive loved for YEARS, but its never made it past my phones list because I figured my husband would veto it?? But he didnt??? Which Im thoroughly surprised about! So now its made it to the actual list!! Haha. My only hesitation with Cicero is that its a city in my home state (where my whole family still lives). But we currently dont live there, so really, is it a big deal?

Tully is a name I just came across. My major issue with this name, like Cicero, is that its a city in my home state... It also doesnt flow as well as Id like it to with our last name - the y/ey endings bother me quite a bit.

Augustus is just such a strong name. I love it. But dont love August. We can claim we named him after me (Im Austin lmao). Plus the nicknames Gus and Auggie? LOVE. Hesitant because I was adamant about not using anymore A names (both my kids have A names and I dont want another A name unless its the ONE yaknow?) But something about Augustus hits where I love it.

Another lil fun fact is that Tully and Cicero are connected to the Roman statesman and lawyer (Marcus Tullius Cicero). Nothing thatll be relevant to his day to day living, but a fun fact lol

I think if I had to rank these names, it would be Cicero, Augustus then Tully.

Do you think these names would work in the 2020s/2030s?

2 weeks!

Im officially 2 weeks (16 days) without nic! And 9 days without any sort of vape!! I did it cold turkey.

Hubby is officially day 1 of quitting!!! Hes using patches.

How do we all deal with the increased appetite?? Its killing me 😅

The irritability was rough but its over now. But the increased appetite is not something I want.

My chronic pain anniversary 😅😭

This summer will be 4 years since ive been in chronic stomach pain. Ive had inconsistent stomach pain ever since 2008 (they claimed i have IBS). Its become constant with no relief in 2022. Im a bariatric pt. Ive went to a bariatric surgeon. They did a fistula repair and candy cane syndrome repair (bowel resection). Thinking thatd fix it. Nope. It was a good few months without crippling pain just normal pain. 😅 which is sad that it still never fully went away.

Ive recently started at a new pcp, who thankfully is trying to figure out whats going on. But all hes suggesting to do, ive done x2 already. Hes suggested seeing a GI doctor. Ive saw her. She doesnt understand a bariatric pt anatomy. Ive had 5 endoscopies. Ive had several CT scans done. Several ultrasounds. Im on my FOURTH ppi (ive tried omeprazole, pantropazole, famotidine, currently on carafate) with no relief. Tylenol may stop the pain for all of 2 hours. I cant take NSAIDs. Atp, id be willing to let them take whatever is left of my stomach so I can get relief.

Im a sahm so thankfully I dont have to call in/go home early when the pain happens. But with that being said, I have a 3yo, and its not fair for him for us to be cooped up because mommy's belly hurts...

Its funny, my mom always called (still does) me a hypocondriac. She thought I was insane when I thought maybe I had candy cane syndrome because its a rare complication of my surgery. Nope. Just chronically ill girly who everyone's ignored for years 😅😅

Idk what the point of this post is... Just to feel im not alone?

Soft but masculine

What are some soft yet masculine boy names?

Like Abbott, Asa, Hugh, Louis, Samuel, Rhys etc

But NOT starting with A or H. Preferably unranked or ranked super low.

Anyone with a negative beta at 10dpo turn positive??

I got (what I thought) was a vvvfp on sunday at 9dpo. Got beta done at 10dpo. It was <3. They still wanted a repeat 48 hours later, so today I went (12dpo). Has anyone gotten a negative beta at 10dpo but positive at 12dpo? I have like 1% hope that theres something there now because of the negative beta. The MA said its slim but its not impossible. Period is due friday. Ovulation was confirmed 6/5 with opk. DTD 6/3, 6/5, 6/6 and 6/11 but I doubt the 11th plays a significant part in this cycle.

Ijust thought I got my positive on sunday. It was pink. My husband saw the line... the negative beta really just disappointed me so much.. like I said, I dont have much hope, but i do have just a smidgen. And I wont get the beta back until tomorrow at the earliest...

Middle name that honors in laws.

First name is Minna (minn-uh)

Id want to honor Kimberly Sue - Kimber and Kimbra are not it. I have no issues using Kimberly, but Im wondering if theres any other ideas? Minna Sue seems... too southern belle for me. Not a huge fan. But Susannah (my favorite Sue variant) seems redundant with Minna.
Could Beryl (KimBERLY) work? Minna Beryl? I dont love the 2-2-2 syl name though.

Other name options Id love honoring options for are...

Robert (excluding Roberta and Robin)
Deborah - not a huge fan of Melissa (same meaning - bee)

I could do Lorraine (honoring me and my mom) but we already honored my side of the family with our son. Id prefer to honor DHs side this time around.

First name in a while to give me butterflies

Minna.

Its the first name in well over a year of actively searching to give me butterflies. I love the fact that it means love. That its not common at all. My only concern is the pronunciation as ive posted on facebook and got several different pronunciations. How would you say it? Its pronounced minn-uh.

What are your thoughts on Minna? Id also be open to names that end in minna and/or could have minna used as a nickname (that dont start with A)
