For women on Phentermine

I’m curious to hear about other women’s experiences with phentermine and weight loss. My doctor initially started me on 15 mg, and I did have some early success with weight loss and appetite suppression. After I stopped noticing results, my doctor increased my dose to 30 mg.

I’ve noticed a similar pattern with both doses: during the first week after starting or increasing the medication, it seems to work well and my appetite feels much more manageable. After that initial week, however, my hunger gradually comes back—especially during the afternoon and evening. I’m still trying to stay within my calorie goal, prioritize protein, exercise regularly, and make healthier choices, but the returning hunger makes it more difficult.

For anyone who has successfully lost weight while taking phentermine, how long were you on it and how much did you lose? Did your appetite suppression decrease after the first week or two? If so, did it eventually improve, or did you have to adjust your routine with your doctor?

I’d also love to know what made the biggest difference in your progress. Did you follow a particular calorie range, prioritize a certain amount of protein, change when you ate your meals, or follow a specific workout routine? I understand everyone responds differently, but I’m interested in hearing real experiences and any helpful habits that contributed to your success.

Dear Bean

I see you everywhere. I see you in my dreams, I see you in the walls, I see your smile reflected in the stars when I look to the stars for answers to my prayers.

Apart of me remembers you as the girl I fell in love with under the stars. The other part of me lives on reminded of the hurt and pain you caused when you left out the door.

I can’t seem to hate you. I’ll always care for you. And carry our past love in my heart so deep. The memories of you crawl under my skin and with every twitch and tingle I’m reminded you exist. My heart will go on. You’ll be in my heart forever.

Our memories will not hold me back from finding love again. I wish you well. I remember you, will love.

Incoming Rant, dating apps are exhausting.

Is anyone else just completely burned out by dating apps and Facebook Dating?

I’m genuinely trying here. I’m not saying I’m perfect, but I actually make an effort to have conversations. I ask questions, try to keep things going, and show interest in getting to know someone. Half the time it feels like I’m carrying the entire conversation. One-word replies, no follow-up questions, or people who disappear after seeming interested. It’s exhausting.

And it’s not even just dating. I try to interact with people as friends too because I enjoy meeting new people. But it feels like meaningful conversations are so hard to come by.

The part that gets me the most is when someone gives me attention at first, gets my hopes up a little, and then suddenly pulls away. It’s like, “Okay…what changed?” I know nobody owes me anything, and I understand people lose interest or get busy, but after it happens over and over, it starts messing with your head.

I don’t think I’m looking for some unrealistic fairytale. I just want someone who can communicate, put in a little effort, and actually seem interested in getting to know me without asking me to hook up, or join their polyamorous relationship. That doesn’t feel like it should be asking for too much.

Maybe I’m just frustrated. Maybe I’m burned out. I don’t know. Dating right now just feels incredibly discouraging, and I’m starting to wonder if anyone else feels like they’re putting in way more effort than they’re getting back.

Thanks for listening.

Advice for a young GIS Professional

I recently attended the Esri User Conference, and it made me even more excited to build a career in GIS. I especially loved learning about drones, ArcGIS, and all the ways GIS is being used to solve real-world problems.

I’m looking to build a portfolio that will help me become as successful as possible in the GIS field. I’m considering earning my FAA Part 107 certificate, learning drone mapping and photogrammetry, and VERY interested in pursuing a Geomatics degree.

For those of you with experience, what skills, projects, certifications, or technologies would you recommend I focus on? If you were starting over today, what would you do to stand out and advance in the GIS world?

Taking Creatine and Water Weight pills at the same time.

Has anyone here successfully used both creatine and water pills at the same time?

I’ve been lifting consistently for several months and recently started taking creatine. I’ve noticed my muscles feel fuller and some of my clothes fit tighter, especially in my arms and legs.

I recently met a woman at the gym who takes creatine and water pills and says she’s had great success with it. That got me wondering if anyone else does the same.

To me, it seems a little redundant since creatine increases water retention in the muscles while water pills are designed to help you shed water. Am I missing something?

For those who have tried both, did it help with fat loss, bloating, or scale weight? Or did it just make things more confusing?

Dear Bean..

Dear Bean,

Seeing you again brought back emotions I thought I had buried.

For a moment, it felt like time folded in on itself. I wasn’t just looking at you…I was looking at years of memories, dreams, routines, and a future I once believed we would share. No matter how much time has passed, seeing you reminded me that a part of me still loves you.

And that’s the hardest thing to admit.

I still love the person I thought you were. I still love the life we built together. I still love the version of us that existed before everything fell apart.

But at the same time, I hate what you did to me.

I hate the pain you left behind. I hate the sleepless nights, the endless questions, and the way I was forced to rebuild myself after losing not only the relationship, but the future I imagined with you. I hate that someone I trusted so completely became the source of some of the deepest hurt I’ve ever experienced.

What hurts most is that I never wanted us to end this way.

I wanted honesty. I wanted respect. I wanted the kind of goodbye that acknowledged what we meant to each other. Instead, I was left carrying the weight of a broken heart while trying to understand how someone I loved so deeply could walk away and leave so much destruction behind.

Seeing you reminded me that two things can be true at the same time: I can still love you, and I can still be angry. I can miss you, and I can recognize that what happened was not okay. I can cherish the memories we shared while grieving the way everything ended.

There are days I wish I could forget you entirely. There are other days when I wish I could sit down with you one last time and hear the words I’ve waited so long to hear: that you understand the hurt you caused, that you’re sorry, and that what we had was real.

Maybe I’ll never get that. Maybe closure is something I have to create for myself.

But if there’s one thing I know, it’s that seeing you reminded me that my heart is still healing. Not because I want you back, but because what we had mattered. Seven years mattered. The love I gave mattered.

And despite everything, I hope one day I can think of you without feeling this ache in my chest.

I loved you deeply.

I wish things had been different.

31F from California 🌲☀️ - Looking for friendship or a meaningful connection

Hello! I’m looking to meet some cool people in my area or long distance to make new connections. If a friendship grows into something more naturally, I’m open to that too.

A little about me: I’m outdoorsy and happiest when I’m exploring somewhere new. I love road trips, hiking, camping, paddleboarding, swimming, and pretty much any excuse to get outside. When I’m not outside, you’ll find me inside playing video games on my PS5. I’m mainly into Fortnite, but I’m open to playing other games too. Fitness is also a big part of my life. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the gym this year, focusing on getting stronger, staying healthy, and becoming the best version of myself.

I’d love to meet other women who enjoy being active, exploring, and making memories. Whether it’s grabbing coffee, hitting a hiking trail, taking a paddleboard out on the water, a coffee date, or just chatting and seeing where things go, feel free to say hi!

Dating and life woes

I’m 31 and I’ve spent the last several months really working on myself. I’ve been consistently going to the gym, focusing on my health, going to therapy, and trying to build a better life.

The weird thing is that even with all that progress, I still find myself feeling lonely sometimes. I want a healthy relationship and someone to share all aspects of my life with, but dating can feel exhausting. Different communication styles, mixed signals, and trying to figure out where you stand with someone can be

For everyone here, did focusing on yourself eventually lead to meeting the right person, or did the loneliness stick around for a while?

What has worked for you?

Women who have successfully lost weight while lifting, what finally worked for you?

I’ve been working out consistently for about 5 months now. I do a mix of weightlifting and cardio, and I’ve been taking creatine. I eat relatively healthy most of the time and try to prioritize protein. The one thing I know I’m not great at is getting 10,000+ steps per day.

I’m definitely stronger than when I started, and I think the creatine and lifting have helped me build some muscle. I’ve probably lost around 10 pounds over the past few months, but I was hoping to be further along by now. Sometimes it feels like I’m putting in a lot of effort without seeing much movement on the scale.

For those of you who have been through this, what ended up being the missing piece? Was it tracking calories more closely, increasing steps, changing your workouts, improving sleep, something else?

I’d love to hear what made the biggest difference for you.

Looking for a Fortnite Duo

Hey! I’m a 31f from California looking for a Fortnite duo partner. Mostly hoping to make a friend, have fun, and find someone to game with regularly.

I mainly play Fortnite, but I’m also open to other games if we click. Friendship is the goal, but if something more develops naturally, I’m open to that too.

Seen my ex today….

I had a really unexpected experience today. I’ve been going to the same gym for over a year and have never once seen my ex there. In my mind, I honestly thought she had moved away and was completely out of my day-to-day life.

About 20 minutes into my workout, she walked in with her new girlfriend. I seen her new girlfriend staring me down and it didn’t click immediately as in, “why is this girl staring at me”?. Then I seen my ex next to her. I felt my stomach drop. I almost had a panic attack. I ended up leaving, calling my sister, and crying because it hit me so much harder than I expected.

A few hours later, I’m okay. I’m not sitting here wishing we were back together. I think what got me was the shock of seeing someone I thought was gone and realizing she’s not. It felt like a wound I thought had mostly healed suddenly got poked.

What surprised me most is how physical the reaction was. My heart was racing and my brain went straight into panic mode before I could even think rationally.

Has anyone else unexpectedly run into an ex after a long time? How did you react, and did it get easier after the first encounter?

Outside perspective needed

I’m looking for some outside perspective on a woman I’ve been talking to for a few months.

I’m 31 and it’s been a long time since I’ve genuinely felt excited about someone. She was the first person in years who made me feel something. She makes me feel pretty, wanted, and appreciated. There are definitely things I like about her.

The issue is that I’m starting to notice some things that make me question our compatibility.

One of the biggest things for me is emotional connection. I really value someone who asks questions, follows up on things I tell them, shows curiosity about my life, and can have deeper conversations. Lately I’ve been feeling like most of our conversations revolve around her life, her recovery, or whatever she’s going through. She doesn’t ask many follow-up questions about me, and sometimes I leave conversations feeling unseen or emotionally disconnected.
I’ve brought it up before and she said she’d work on it, but I haven’t noticed much change yet.

The confusing part is that she’s not a bad person. She’s kind, she’s been through a lot, and there are things I genuinely appreciate about her. That’s why I’m struggling.

So my question is:

When you’re dating someone and you start noticing a potential incompatibility like this, do you keep getting to know them and see if things improve over time? Or do you take it as a sign that your emotional needs and communication styles just aren’t a good match?

I’m trying to figure out if I’m expecting too much, if I’m being impatient, or if this is one of those things that usually doesn’t change. Any advice is welcome. Thank you 🙏🏼
