im so inconsistent

i have my master's entrance exam in 8 months and I bought a batch this aug, studied for 2 days and then idk what happened. it's like I forgot the batch even existed???? opened the batch again today and watching a 3 hrs lecture since morning. my inconsistency is actually demotivating me. how to build consistency? and how can I stop sulking over time wasted? and what should I do to not repeat this mistake again?

i have a very paralysing fear of water

it's been a week since I (23F) joined university swimming pool and I can't stand in the water after gliding and floating. the fear is so paralysing, that I can't even leg go of the support while floating. i can easily float or glide but I don't know how to stand. even after watching so many tutorials on YouTube, I still panic in the water and my mind goes blank. idk how to overcome this and if this continues im actually thinking of giving up swimming.

fix this issue asap; my fingerprint sensor stopped working on my motorola g54 5g (2 years old)

The fingerprint sensor has completely stopped working, and the fingerprint settings have disappeared entirely from the phone's Settings menu.

I expect Motorola to investigate this issue promptly and provide a permanent solution. If this is a software-related problem, I expect an immediate fix. If it is due to a hardware defect, I request that Motorola inspect and repair the device at the earliest possible opportunity.

Please do not respond with generic troubleshooting steps unless you have confirmed that they address the root cause of this issue. I expect a clear explanation of why the fingerprint functionality has disappeared completely and what Motorola will do to resolve it.

idk what happened man (I have study anxiety)

idk what happened man, just few days ago, I satrted studying for my master's entrance test. everything was going great. I felt like the first day started so well, I felt this time I will definitely stick to the schedule and classes

but two days have passed and I haven't even touched books. idk whenever I sit at my table and open my books, im so stressed that how will I cover this huge syllabus and how will I remember everything that I've studied?

my inner critic is always very hard on myself. the second day my study hours reduced and third day I didn't even opened book bc of anxiety and guilt for not studying effectively on the second day.

now today when I went to class, I looked at my classmates, how they're so focused on themselves and utilising every bit of their time productively. MY INNER CRITIC STARTED BEING VERY HARSH ON MYSELF AGAIN.

I felt so bad, angry, sad and frustrated with myself. it feels like I have such high ambitions but my hands avoid taking action??? I ONCE AGAIN FEEL LIKE MY BRAIN IS TELLING ME THAT YOU WONT BE THE BEST, SO WHY EVEN TRY TO BOTHER TO BECOME MEDIOCRE.

and no amount of self talk is helping me at all.

idk what to do man

why am I not taking actions even tho I really want to

how do I overcome this?

How and where can a B.Sc. Agriculture graduate build a high-paying career abroad? Looking for real experiences.

Hi everyone,

my_qualifications : Final year Bsc (Hons) Agriculture

I'm currently in the final year of my B.Sc. Agriculture and have been exploring career options abroad after graduation. Most discussions I come across are about engineering, IT, or management, so I wanted to hear specifically from agriculture graduates.

Is there anyone here who completed a B.Sc. Agriculture in India and is now doing well abroad?

I'd love to know:

- Which country did you move to?

- Did you pursue an M.Sc., or start working directly?

- What specialization or career path has good long-term salary potential?

- Are there any agriculture-related fields (plant breeding, biotechnology, food science, agribusiness, GIS, precision agriculture, sustainability, or agricultural data science) that are in high demand internationally?

- Was it difficult to find a job after your studies?

- If you could go back to your final year of B.Sc. Agriculture, what would you do differently to maximize your career opportunities abroad?

My goal is to understand the best roadmap for an agriculture graduate who wants to build a strong career abroad with good earning potential. I'd really appreciate any honest advice, success stories, or even things you wish someone had told you earlier.

Thanks in advance!

acute migraine is stopping me lose weight

ive been struggling to lose weight since three years. im a uni student so i usually don't have time to go to the gym or follow extensive diet plans. i started with something very simple, known as intermittent fasting. the first day I tried,I skipped my breakfast ,I got a headache so bad I felt my oesophagus burning and I was in total pain. it was so bad I felt like my head is gonna explode.

the next day I tried to reduce my portion size instead of skipping the breakfast. but had a headache again.

the third day I had a full breakfast and lunch, I got no headache.

idk how to lose weight anymore. i feel so bummed.

i too have pcos and I wanna lose weight so bad but I can't skip breakfast and lunch bc they give me headache.

is anybody going through the same thing?

an early 20s crisis, help me. im a 3rd yr bsc ag student looking for some career advice.

myquals: Bsc Agri (3rd year)

hi folks,

ive seen a lot of less information for agri students.

since im in 3rd year, it's high time for me to decide a career for myself. but im so confused between msc and mba. whole of 2nd year I was so desperate about MBA and wanted to get into b schools. but after thorough talk with my parents (and also chat gpt ) I realised that doing an MBA doesn't really align with the kind of life I want for my future and doing an msc will be a more suitable option.

ill be honest, there's nothing that excites me about msc. i want to msc in plant sciences (esp gpb or mycology and plant pathology, probably from the top institutions of India). but im scared that what if I'll regret this choice? bc my end goal is to get a good gov job but it all feels like a scam. first of all, I don't believe that ill ever clear a government exam (given my history with failed neet attempts) secondly, all these paper leaks is really demotivating me and it feels that these exams are becoming more and more unreliable.

in short, am i a fool to choose msc over mba and prepare for gov exams (precisely, ifos and state pcs)?

my parents believe that cat exam will be hard for me bc it has maths, and i took biology in 12th. but I believe that if i work hard enough I can get a good score. but then they said they want me to prepare for gov exams so we dropped the whole plan altogether and shifted to msc.

but im not 100% sure of this decision. tbh it feels like a trap. but it's already late for me to enroll into classes for cat (as the exam will be in nov and I don't even know the basics of this exam so I don't wanna take any risk by jumping directly into this exam without thinking about the consequences if I fail)

another option is that, I can do mba after master's?

(that way my parents will be satisfied and also bc im so scared to prepare for ifos and state pcs and I almost believe that I can never clear those exams)

anyway, im open to all advices. feel free to give me insights or scold me if u think that im making a mistake.

why do i have no urge to change?

even tho things are not going according to my plan but I've made peace w it. even tho I don't have the perfect relationship with my parents, but I've accepted it. im doing a course that I don't like, but enrolling in this course was my choice. i don't see any future where im happy with myself and my life.

when I was a kid, I used to think that I was meant for great things bc I was an all rounder girl. but now in college I've made peace with getting mediocre grades.

ik ive so much potential but I don't have any urge to reach my highest potential. i see no point in grinding.

it's like I have no desire to change.

my life isn't great rn, but ive accepted it as it is.

no matter how much I want to change and do something, I give up when things get hard.

im overweight, I don't feel like myself anymore. i don't remember the last time I was happy, but I have no urge to change at all.

i thought ill learn driving, but I'm so fucking terrified to be on the road and to get hurt that it's been a year and I haven't practiced driving at all. i have all the time in the world to do something meaningful, something good to myself, but I'm just so frustrated with myself rn. i see no point in starting.

it feels like ive given up on myself

i feel like I wasn't meant for great things

i don't even feel like I'll get a job (bc I have no ambition at all)

there was something that I wanted to do so badly but I failed miserably, and now I have no ambition at all.

i don't know what is wrong with me .....
