Possibly newborn, but already missing the tip of his tail, poor thing. He was so small I was afraid I would accidentally squish him between my thumb and pointer fingers when I was holding him.
Field has small eyes. I don't know why. They always look like this. Am I tripping or what????? Maybe it's the coat they have that makes them look like they have small eyes...??? I have no idea I feel like I'm crazy. I probably am. They're a pup. adopted.
Trying to get the last few Hellroaring achievements I have left, but they require the north-eastern part of the map, so I exterminated half the Bull Mountain pack just to be able to court Mr. Love here. I didn't plan on that -- I was originally just going to kill the two leaders and take over the territory, but he was really pretty... White wolves are so uncommon. I also didn't want to kill more than his old mate, but she wouldn't spawn when I slept in the territory, so I just killed a wolf at a time until she did.
Shrike (skull) and Kite (red). Shrike is usually quiet, but he is quite the yapper when he's talking about something he's interested in. (He is autism.) Kite is also very quiet, as well as antisocial and bitter. She's typically a recluse. Losing her brother (and half her face) in the war did a number on her. The only person she talks to is Shrike.
EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF MY PUPS DIED. I HABE NEVER LOST AN ENTIRE LITTER BEFORE. THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF MY USELESS PACK. I'M SO. STEAM ISN'T WORKING EITUER TO PUT SCREENSHOTS IN. I'M TYPING THIS ON MY PHONE. I AM SO ANGRY. BUT NOTHING RELIEVES MY ANGRF WITHOUT FEELING TERRIBLE. I'M JUST STUCK SO SO SO SO SO ANGRY.

Three pups at deaths door. I had to choose which pup to keep alive, because I didn't have enough in my stomach to feed all of them... so one of them died of starvation, and now the other is sick with 5% health. Eagle Howl is going to be the only survivor of this litter.
Even during my first ever game on easy, I had two of five pups survive.... But I guess only having one pup makes it easier.
I'll never rely on my pack during Growing Pups ever again. That's what started this downward spiral - I trusted them to go out and hunt without me. They brought back nothing. Everyone started dying.
Dandelion died. Partly of starvation and partly of sickness. I'm going to stop playing for the night..... I'm actually so upset why does wolfquest always kill my favorites..........
I'm sorry Toadlet. I trusted my pack to do ONE THING. I trusted them to go out and hunt and bring some food back, but instead they brought NOTHING. And then when I was gone my pups just started getting weaker and weaker and for some reason Toadlet took the brunt of it. I'm sorry you had to suffer because of my stupid useless pack and me thinking I could rely on them FOR ONCE
My packmates went out without me, while I was out away from the homesite, and it's nighttime. What. They can leave when you're gone??? And at night??? They will only leave the homesite while you're there during the day. Did I take too long trying to find food or something????
The Yancey's Hole pack is now led by two wolves who are completely unrelated to the rest of the pack. I think what happened was one of the original pack leaders, YanceyFL, died, so YanceyML found another mate, and then the YanceyML died, leaving the new wolf to also find a mate... leading to this situation.
What's weird is that YanceyML is still alive. So maybe I missed naming YanceyFL2 when she was a subordinate?? She didn't have a name when I met her... so weird.
Rival pack drama is fascinating! I didn't used to keep track of it, but I started naming rival wolves and it suddenly got a lot more interesting.
This is only half of my pack and they devoured an entire cow elk in less than a minute and a half..... I'm so scared for a bad season - we've only had good ones so far. It's population control, I guess...
Hellroaring is great a great map for jumping off the uneven terrain and going soaring through the air

The Storm Pack lives on! Glowing Mist, the fourth leader, has just had her second litter with Rainbow Trout. This time there's five! That's one more wolf than last litter. This year the food abundance is good - the same as the previous year.
I've had this mate, who I named Rainbow (trout) for almost a whole year. Turns out he's been KK this whole time???? WHAT?????? I had no idea! I thought it was weird that I had a litter of four, because I never have litters that small, but I chalked it up to bad luck and did my best to raise all of them. I don't know whether to keep him or not anymore. So far he's been a good father, but I'm trying to get Perfectly Balanced and I don't know if I can get a huge litter with him...
I saw somebody comment it once and it has helped me so much that I want to share.
If you want your packmates to hunt without you, this is what needs to happen: average pack hunger needs to be below 70%, it needs to be daytime with clear weather, and you have to ignore your pack when it starts whining for food. Also, your pack won't mark hexes if your mate isn't with them.
Does anybody else read Seven Red Sun's abbreviated name SRS as "serious" by accident😭
A picture of somebody's cat. It makes me sad... I assume this is a dead elderly person's picture, donated to goodwill. They didn't even take the photo out. There was another across the store with three pictures just like this one; very old, obviously home-taken photos. Two of a pug, and one with people on it.
Grizzly's death is tragic. He was sick before during growing pups, and then the quest ended and transitioned. Usually when this happens sick pups get better. Grizzly did not which really sucks because he was so pretty! The prettiest pup I think I've ever had. He had a coat I'd never had before and a bent ear, something I've only ever gotten in a pup one other time. I think I'll make a wolf in his honor because he was just so beautiful.
This happened to me and my actual real-life reaction to this was to out loud say "What. The fuck just happened."
