Just adopted a golden pothos and a spider plant. How to not kill?
So as the title says I adopted a spider plant and a golden pothos from my step sister and they were starting to die from under watering and the spider plant was getting some burnt spots from too much sun. I put them in partial sun/shade but my east facing window and watered them and gave them a couple weeks to adjust to the environment and they seem to be doing well but I need to repot them. Both their soil is rock hard and the spider plant is in a flimsy wooden pot that’s mouldy. I removed all dead leaves and have bought an appropriate soil mix that’s well draining. I wanted to know if there was any tips or tricks to keeping these guys alive or if I can mostly just shove them in a corner and let them do their thing..?
Edit: I just took out the spider plant and it’s hella root bound there’s not root then dirt😅 but good news is they’re very healthy
