Had my first post-op gynecology appointment :)

It was kinda uncomfortable, but it went well. Maybe it’s kinda weird how excited I was for an OBGYN appointment, but it felt really affirming to be in such a women-centric place and feel like I really belonged :)

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I was really nervous before going because I didn’t see anything online about what these appointments are like for trans women, so I’d be happy to help if anyone’s curious or anxious :)

Made my own warscroll cards!

I’ve been wanting a quick reference to use while playing, but the existing Faction Pack cards end up out of date all the time so I tried making my own and they turned out really well! I used a github template and added current rules for all the units, faction terrain, and endless spells manually. For my Slaves to Darkness army, printing and laminating at my local library cost about $3 and I can change the cards and do it again whenever I need to! I’ll totally be doing this for my other factions

I suppose I should start painting…

Never understood why people would get a whole army before painting any of it, but a few good deals and opportunities later…I guess I can’t judge 😅

This is the first model I’ve painted for competition and while I don’t expect it to win anything (I don’t have the patience for all those smooth blends and tiny details that people do), it was still so fun to really put time into a model. This is the first time I’ve done NMM and the first time I’ve done significant freehand with the big banner, so it really pushed me out of my comfort zone. This guy can without a banner so I had to make one from toothpicks, an aluminum can, and random bits but I think it turned out pretty good.

The part of the hobby I really love is the building, it’s a nice break from my other pastime of painting miniatures. But I’ve built all these kits (not just these) and I’m running out of shelf space for them. What do y’all do with all your builds?
