So I made a post here one month ago about how i fumbled a girl, and then I deleted it

So after that post i decided to talk to her more and we did, throughout this month we talked a lot and went outside sometimes, and I can't stop thinking about her,i think she feels the same way.Now everything goes well,i really want to confess, but I can't get the confidence to do that

Struggling to pick a career path between core or software, need advice

Hey everyone, I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I’m an ECE student (2026 batch) and I’ve been grinding Full Stack (Spring Boot + JS) because I really want to be a Software Engineer. The pay and lifestyle are the main draws for me, but the market is rough right now and I’m currently unplaced.

A friend offered to refer me to a solid core company for a GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) role. It’s a good backup, but I’m worried that if I take it, I’ll never make the jump to dev. Plus, the constant AI hype is making me paranoid about the future of software jobs anyway.

Is it better to take the core job for stability and keep upskilling on the side, or should I keep applying for SDE roles until I land something? Anyone else made the jump from a GET role to Software later?
