I miss them…as much as I hated them, they were hella entertaining…Haydar and Nermeen were so chaotic and funny…this new muslimized version of Nermeen is gonna take some time getting used to…Nezir and Asli had chemistry…they could have had explored a romantic angle between the two, I’d be seated for that…

Or, if Nezir had fallen for Eylul, that would have been fun to watch as well…it would have made sense, Ates took Mercan away from him and this could have been Nezir’s payback, where he initially flirts with her but eventually falls in love…

Missed opportunities…bottom line, I miss the 3…

Haven’t watched yet, but the discourse around episode 4 is did Zamil and Zaryab do the deed or not? If they did, that would be pretty bold to show in a drama…I doubt something like this has been shown before?

Abubakar’s friend Beenish…she was stunning…that’s an elite characterization done right…

Other than the English, I think DF is doing a fine job…they need to show the dichotomy in her character’s before and after…something will happen between the two for her to be utterly devastated…she will be a completely different person, which is why Zaryab being a little over the top makes sense…

A much better episode than the previous 2…we see some development in the story…Eylul wasn’t screaming and crying for once…it was getting a bit too much…I’m glad Burak realized his mistake…he needed to be humbled…I liked Hazar in this episode as well…his story is gaining momentum…although his animosity towards Ates doesn’t make sense, it’ll still be interesting to see which direction this takes us…

As much as I love Ates and Mercan’s fighting, I wish they had added some angst or longing or pining from either one or both when they went to sleep mad at each other…that element is missing…they were cute, but the intensity was missing…

Where the heck did Demet’s nonexistent fiancé in season 1 pop out from? It was completely unnecessary…would have made more sense if it was an ex-boyfriend…but nah, they created a whole ass fiance from scratch and threw him in the mix…did some of these writers even watch season 1?

How did Hazar know that Muzzy was the one who lit Saleha’s house on fire? He didn’t even know of Eylul or Saleha’s connection with any of the Karahans…huge plot hole…

How come Muzzy never goes to visit Asli? It’s like she doesn’t even exist for her anymore…and why oh why is she still at the mansion? Other than Mercan and her loved ones, why is anyone at the mansion?

I’m glad to see the gentle and caring side of Eylul…hopefully her anger will subside soon…

Saw some sparks between Zahide and Abdo, but I do like Zahide with Yasar…

I miss season 1…despite the many flaws, there was always so much to discuss, speculate, scream about, predict, anticipate…the suspense was pretty intense, whether it was to see when the enemies turn into lovers or when Ates’s identity would be revealed or when Asli’s crimes would be exposed…there was always a level of excitement, especially with every episode ending in a cliffhanger…couldn’t wait til Mondays or Fridays…

As much as I love season 2, there’s really no suspense factor to really hook the audience…the folks behind the scenes need to do something about the storytelling…not many care about Hazar and Eylul’s story…nor Hazar’s revenge, which makes zero sense…even Muzzy’s reveal behind Eylul’s situation isn’t exciting…I’m looking forward to it happening, but there’s no urgency or anticipation…the only thing I’m looking forward to is Mertes and Cemet scenes…

Just binge watched all 8 episodes…could not tear myself away…I was always indifferent towards Urwa…never really watched many of her dramas, ‘cept for some scenes/reels…

Her performance in AKI is simply phenomenal…most of her expressions are stoic, but you can easily see the storm brewing inside of her…she really makes you feel her pain, her isolation, her defeat…

Even if Beena ends up coming back, I hope she never forgives that narcissistic jerk…

Anyway, Aap Ki Izzat is easily the best drama on-air right now, from the performances (even the group of house help is entertaining), to the direction, to the storytelling, and most importantly, the unpredictable trajectory of each character that has us guessing, everything is woven together and delivered beautifully…

Just started watching…finished the first two episodes…

Wanted to punch Tabish through my screen…I know Beena runs away, didn’t get to that part though, and alls I gotta say is that she better never forgive Tabish, even if she decides to stay…

Sania Saeed has given good performances throughout her career, but her dialogue delivery is un-freakin-bearable here…why’s it taking her a day and a half just to say one syllable …so slow and so low: waaaaaaaalaaaaaaaakummmmm aaaaaaaasalaaaaam…woman, speed the heck up, we ain’t got all day…

Urwa’s doing an amazing job, and she looks gorgeous! She really makes you feel for her plight…and I’m glad they didn’t make her stupid nor is she a doormat…

Ahsan Khan looks great as well…but I still wanna punch Tabish through my screen…
