I’ve only read bits and pieces and varying perspectives, but does this whole Clancy trial remind any one of CI’s Magnificat? In that episode, Doreen Whitlock kills 3 of her 4 boys and there are times during that episode that do evoke a tinge of empathy, despite what Doreen has done…the husband, Paul, does play a role in driving Doreen to that point and knew she was suicidal, but Carver insists that Paul didn’t legally commit any crime…Goren says Paul has a lack of affect…
Anyway, I’m not too familiar with all the testimonies and evidence that was presented, so can’t say much about it, but does anyone see the same lack of affect in Patrick that was in Paul?
