I am using Web Browser, Safari, iOS. Just a few minutes ago I can see a new button in the top left which refreshes my emails. I have never seen this before. It even appears in inprivate. I don’t know why it’s there seeing as Gmail lets you refresh by dragging up. I suspect a virus. Anyone else seeing it?
Im aware CEX has discontinued £1 DVDs and I know they’ll likely be removed from the website. However, what I‘d like to know is what database is being kept so they know DVDs are £1 and thus bad? What methodology did they use to value a DVD as a £1 and thus “bad”. Some of the £1 DVDs I’ve seen them sell actually still seem like they have the potential to be valuable in the future so what happens in that scenario?
In addition the CEX £1 DVD Database is a valuable resource into what DVDs were actually sold in the UK. Is anyone able to make a copy of it somehow? This would be very helpful
In October, Chrome 154 will start blocking http sites. Do you think this means that Google Search will start removing http links from search including ones from blogger (owned by Google)?
Google owns blogger. Chrome 154 (released October will automatically block http sites by default. Does this mean there’s a chance Google will delete http blogs?
As title says, I found a pr-purchased iTunes card with a fixed amount on it. it also has a receipt next to it dating it in 2024. I can confirm remembering said purchase. I am aware iTunes cards don’t expire so it should work.
however, is it actually SAFE to add to my account? I am aware of the Paris Butterfield-Addison case where he was locked because he added a bad card to his account and Ive seen this story play out on here multiple times. I am very worried about adding the card to my account. do you think I’ll get locked if I do so?
my Apple ID asked me to sign in on settings. When I did it said my account was locked for security purposes and asked me to sign in again. I tried to sign in through the Apple account page but it asked me to reset password. So instead I signed in through the settings app on my iPhone. I answered the security questions re-entered my password and I’m unlocked.
however seeing reports on here have painted a very different picture on what I should have done. but I also have had no problems. Did I do the correct thing?

Using Gmail on Safari iOS. When I look at my Gmail accounts on the login it shows an arrow which if touched scrolls to the bottom of the page. Is this normal? Is anyone else seeing this? Or have I been compromised or hacked?
the iPod touch 6th gen is vintage but becomes obsolete on the 26th. Before it becomes that is it actually worth getting my iPod touch 6th gen fixed by Apple during that time. i have multiple ones. One is Stuck in Recovery and the other is still dece qualit. or perhaps I should buy a second hand 6th gen and have Apple fix it?
would like to hear suggestions
I know that Apple has certain products which are vintage but not obsolete as in Apple will fix them if they have parts in store. However Apple does not have a store by store directory of which stores.
the iPod touch 6th generation becomes obsolete and thus not eligible for repair on May 26. Aberdeen is the nearest Apple Store to me but it’s still far away. To avoid a wasted journey, does anyone know if the Apple Store in Aberdeen repairs iPod touch 6th gen?
