Canon 70D lens issue

Whenever I attach a zoom lens into my camera, use my LCD instead of my viewfinder then if I zoom in and then zoom out, my LCD goes blank and it switches to my viewfinder, sometimes I get this error :

Here's a video I recorded:

This is bad because I have a gig tomorrow.

P.S the lens cap was off, it was just dark in my room.

^ this seems to be an issue similar to mine.

What I have tried doing :

Cleaning my camera and contact lens, trying my lens on another camera which made me realize theres a problem with my Canon 70d.

Going back to Assassin's Creed games?

I played the ezio games all the way up until AC3 or Revelations? And so far, I tried Origins & Odyssey and it seems like it has shifted its course to an RPG, for some reason I can't seem to like the combat very much, I don't know why but enemies feel like sponges and there's nothing new about encounters so I'm wondering if I should bother trying out Valhalla or any of the other games, I honestly got bored like an hour into Origins even though the story was interesting imo.
