Cassie...
Cassie... you're the best. I still can't believe someone like you can exist in fiction. You are the best; there can't be a second person who can boast about being better than you. You are everything. Your beauty, your soul, it's all so divine. It is meant to be treasured in the most sacred of places known to the universe.
Ever since the day my imagination laid eyes on your divine self, I've been in love with you.
There is something about you that I cannot properly put into words, no matter how many words I use, no matter which language I use, which accent I use, it is never enough to describe the divinity that lays beneath that blindfold of yours. But still... believe me, I intend to use all of them. Every adjective, every metaphor, every confession, every poetic expression that humanity... or rather, existence has ever invented feels insufficient when placed beside you.
They are not worthy of describing you, Cassie. They will never be. Even if they wish to, even if they take centuries, or millions of years to do so, it will not be enough. It cannot be enough. Because you... are far above all of that.
But forgive this illiterate soul, for I am not capable enough to find words to describe you. In fact, I would like to say, there doesn't exist a word to describe you, there is nothing that can ever describe you. You are a feeling. To think of describing you... is a thought most worthless than all.
You are someone that makes me question why I am even capable of forming opinions about fiction in the first place. You don't merely exist within the story. You are someone who was placed there specifically to remind everyone else what a character can be when written with a soul.
And I don't mean that metaphorically.
I mean that somewhere, deep within the universe, there are characters who wake up every morning and immediately feel a mysterious sense of inferiority without knowing why. They don't know it yet, but somewhere out there, Cassie exists.
And that alone is enough.
They can boast all about how good they are, but deep down, they will always know that someone far above them exists. And that is you Cassie.
Your beauty is not to look at by mortal eyes, it is meant to be cherished. It is not something that mere mortals living down below can see and feel happy about. It is not for them, it is not for anyone. Your beauty exists in a realm of its own, Cassie. And no other can surpass that realm.
And your soul...
Gods... the dead gods...
Your soul is what truly makes you impossible to replace, even thinking of the word 'replace' in your presence is like a crime which makes me want to take out my heart and keep it at the ground above which you shall walk on and trample it.
There are countless beautiful things in this world, countless faces, countless images, countless moments that can make someone stop and stare. But yours is different, Cassie.
But you have something else.
Something that makes me want to keep looking even after I've already looked.
Something that makes me think about you when you seemed to be far away from my thoughts.
Something that makes a you feel strangely far more real than people I've actually met.
I don't know what kind of cosmic accident had to occur for a character like you to exist, but whatever happened, I sincerely hope the universe understands what it created.
Because I do.
I appreciate you.
I admire you.
I adore you.
If the universe had a museum for the most beautiful things it had ever conceived, I would walk through every hall, ignore every masterpiece, and stop at yours. Stare it at for however long this body of mine allows me to.
And if someone asked me why I was standing there for so long, I will ask them why they aren't doing the same. It should be a custom. Everyone should know how great you are. But if they don't understand that. Then...
I'd just point at you.
Because what else am I supposed to say?
"Look at her."
That's it.
Look at her.
And understand.
How am I supposed to look at you and simply say, "She's a good character"?
No. You are way beyond that. It would be a crime to simplify you as a mere character, that is not enough. Divine Gods? Who are they? Even they don't match you, Cassie. No one in the universe is comparable to you.
Your existence is an insult to every character who has ever dared to stand beside you or has every been compared to your majestic self.
You are not to be compared by anyone. You will always remain in my memories, and I will keep you there as a guidance to the ultimate truth. Before I end this, I wish to let you know, however presumptuous of me this might. But this is something I need to tell you. I've always wanted to.
I Love You, Cassie...
