(Warning: Spoilers for episode 9 (well basically the whole series))

I know I should have posted it since the episode 9 was in theaters as but my phone wanna be an A hole by filling up my iPhone storage and wouldn’t let me save some of my images and art while I look for owners of the arts I use to give credit for this post (plus to avoid copyright). And I was also extremely busy an to tired so this better be worth it.

(My explanation about episode 9)
So yeah I saw the Episode 9 leak before the release and gonna be honest I kinda saw it coming for both the leak and The episode itself.

First off No I haven’t seen it in theaters back when it came out because I don’t have a Cinemarks theater in my home town sadly plus I honestly don’t care for spoilers unless it something very huge for me like
A Smash bros character reveal.

Since the pilot came out I wanted to see what it was all about. When I saw the glitch logo in the teaser trailer I thought it has to do with fan made Mario characters because of well…do I need to explain? Everybody should know what Glitch production is by now and who started it.

In fact I even knew who Gooseworx was back then cause she use to make those fan made Undertale covers when it was popular when it came out.

But as I was saying that I saw the trailer and it felt interesting at the time. What gotten me interested the most is the doors with the X’s on it and realizing that there is some form of lore. Until the finale came out and messed that up which we’ll get to that later.

(Plus I’m a huge fan of Disney infinity and I was making a roster of thousands of characters in it. Excluding Disney’s woke agenda of course)

When I read informations like Gooseworx replies saying things like it was meant to be 9 episodes. I didn’t like the idea of just 9 episodes because would prefer a literal 2 seasons but then around 2 years later I think I thought of these episodes as 1 hour special for an alternate version of the show (with no filler of course)

months later in 2024 I saw episode 2 and thought of creative scenarios for characters like Gumigoo (with no content farms involved)

And episode 3 months later again loving the idea of the shotgun Kinger used. Plus the please don’t come alive joke LOL.

Then Episode 4. Which wrapped up the 1st 4 episodes.

Episode 5 was kinda fun

Episode 6 is actually my favorite for the fun gun game.

Episode 7 gave me goosebumps throughout the episode with the adventure reveal being the most surprising part. (And kinda saw it coming) The memes made it better which were hilarious such as the gang looking shocked after the reveal for example.

Episode 8 was about to do the same but I felt like some of the moments like the circus origin and Caine’s song for example should have been part of the finale.

Which leads to episode 9.

Before I begin explaining my experience I just want to state that I find the episode mid (in an ok way) but I find it the weakest as well and I understand what Glitch and Gooseworx was trying to go for and I really felt so bad for them after all of this so please don’t go harass them.

There are good things about the episode as well such as the animations,voice acting and more which I will explain in this post

First off I felt like because of its release should have been an actual full length movie,not combining episode 8 and 9. And I don’t blame Glitch for doing this since I understand what they wanted to do. But if they wanted to make a full length experience I think they should have made episodes 9 a literally 90 or 120 minutes long. (Or make it 4 hours long if you want a 12 hour experience)

(Jax abstraction)
I knew Jax was gonna Abstract despite goosworx once said it was unexpected which did not age well at all along with her saying that no one is able to show a true leak but her until the leak (and some of the theories) F’d it up. But I kinda saw it coming since episode 6 and him abstracting off screen felt like a cop out. Because it felt like we were promised to learn about how abstraction works. Either it would occur on either Jax or Ribbit. Which also leads to our next problem.

(Missed opportunity)
One of the most things I was really wanted during the show is to learn what happened to the abstracted characters and I was hoping we would get to meet them or learn about them (without flashbacks plus the flashback with ribbit and kaufmo doesn’t count) and remember when kinger talked about scratch? Turns out other than the brain scan comment kinger made and that shot during Caine’s reform scene. Turns out that’s gone and thrown out the window now. In fact I was wishing the theory about the abstracted characters escaping the cellar when Caine is gone would be true. (Which is one of the only theories I would have subscribed through) And when Pomni goes inside Jax (which I really like) it felt like an opportunity to have Pomni do the same to the other abstracted characters and help them out and somehow turn them back to normal. I know Gooseworx said it was irreversible but I was hoping she was lying since she said that she would lie on a few questions and it felt like reverse abstraction is actually deserved.

(Caine’s reformation and the wasted potential of the blue AI)
I actually like that idea of Caine reforming because I usually like having villians reform but having him just waking up in the void and just tossing out the blue ai and being like ok I’m good now really felt kinda off. There could have been something like he was actually in the recycle or trash bin waiting to be deleted but somehow escape and sent a bee like in the poster to spy on the others until he catches up to them. And during a final battle with him and Jax, Caine then could wake up in the void and maybe the blue would be manipulating him during the experience which could be why he’s evil and maybe there should be something like Jax can be turned into a blob creature as a homage to I have no mouth and I must scream plus being based on Ted and Caine would snap out of it and be like oh no! what have I done!? And remember the bee in the poster I just mentioned? Well guess what it doesn’t matter now.

That is probably one of the worst parts because throughout the series it strongly implies that the survivors were humans like in I have no mouth and I must scream. Plus Caine wouldn’t want them to interact with box’s with no explained reason. What I think would have save that part is that they are humans but their minds can switch with AI’s taking over their bodies while their real selves are trapped in the circus and the exit is a replica of the headset. And when Caine reforms he would say that he can bring their bodies back but would need to work on the exit itself by fixing the headset and would have the same offer until the exit is ready so everyone and the abstracted characters would be happy.

(Others)
When Jax walks up to Pomni then walks away along with Pomni also walking away she should have stopped and realize since she wanted Jax to be there like she said in episode 8 along with zooble telling him not to run off and abstract. Maybe Pomni would try to say something to Jax but is cut off by a loud rumble which would be the abstracted characters escaping the cellar.

So anyways these are some nitpicks and gripes I i have but it’s actually ok to almost a guilty pleasure. But I’m more of a positive person. Not a toxic member of the cartoon community.

To lighten up the mood I decided to redo an old Disney infinity art I previously made.

In 2023 after the show began I made an art featuring Pomni and Jax (image 2) but as the show kept going until episode 8 I started to feel that I should do the other cast and the abstracted characters as hope but after what I in episode 9 I’ve felt like they all deserved their spot as part of a rewritten version so I worked on making the designs and to be honest. I basically feel proud of it. Except I feel like I would mark the Unamed abstracted characters as honorable mentions. It features 29 characters from a rewritten like version of the series featuring-

Gummigoo and Caine

I took a bunch of materials I found and made it all in IbisPaint. I took the yellow bunny clown (who was called yucko based on an art by zal-cryptid on tumblr(used in safari) and edited it to a png and made him wear a white suit with polka dots like in some of the arts (hopefully not the content farms) and use his yellow suit from the art as a power disc. I took the Unamed blue oyster design by meglo64 on newgrounds(also used in safari) and added a blue scarf. As for the abstracted characters like scratch,wormo and spike I used a png I found,same for Pomni on an SMG4 fan wiki,Jax,ragatha and zooble were also png including gangle and kinger who were almost rough due to floaty parts like kingers hands along with an art of Queenie I found but finally got their hands together along with gangle with her ribbon and mask.

There will be more but it will take a while for me to do other content like the power discs. Which in the other image has 2 hexagonal power discs I’m keeping which are themed power discs for the circus.

Anyways that’s all I have to say. I gotta get back to work on my infinity idea such as the power discs and more. Take care.

I understand why the internet threw a fit about this movie.
But I'm gonna say it. I don't think it's as bad as the critics and internet were saying. Even the cartoon community threw a fit about it (which they almost always do but that's a topic another time) Thank goodness TheMysteriousMrEnter didn't get involvea...yet (despite he's trying to get better hopefully. Please don't go harass him) but I do agree on a few things on what they should or shouldn't done such as not giving Rosalina more screen time which they should. And on the complaints about the cameos. They already did that in the 1st movie and people praised movies like the Chip and Dale rescue ranger movie (which is a really bad movie in my opinion) almost solely for that reason which is a very stupid reason in my opinion. Plus people were expecting a smash bros movie thanks to cameos like R.O.B and Fox which I think is a fun cameo but they should have wait till the movie came out before showing Fox as a surprise.
Let's not forget critics tried to hate on the 1st movie when it came out. Even this movie was hated by critics and l've seen reviews calling it worst than artificial intelligence (this subreddit won’t let me say it the other way violating my freedom of speech) or not being to woke which is one of the stupidest reasons why and almost P'd me off. Plus despite recent Nintendo controversies going on which some of it is stupid in my opinion
But despite all of this I still say congratulations to Nintendo and Illuminations for earning a billion dollars and trying. While I do prefer the 2023 movie. I still say congratulations to them.
