I remember I went to a free game at the end of last season because I was a MLB.TV subscriber. Anybody know if they're doing that this year? Haven't seen a notification but may have disabled them.
Was looking up rental car prices for this December and saw on National at least that the electric cars are much cheaper to rent? Seems like chargers are generally available around Tromso/Senja which is where we'll be, a bit worried about it though.
Doing some research for a December trip and it seems like all the reindeer activities are feeding and doing sled rides, but is there anywhere that you can just drive up and have a coffee while looking out over the herd or anything like that? Don't need to necessarily interact with them.
So often I'm seeing +$2 or +$3 for a veggie/beyond/impossible patty compared to normal burger prices, despite beef prices skyrocketing the last couple years. How is it that veggie patties still require an extra cost? Are they more expensive per unit? Is it just to offset storage costs of a lower turnover item? I feel like I'm getting ripped off constantly.
My sneaking suspicion is that they were more expensive back when they were being added to menus 5ish years ago, and nobody has dropped the fee despite them being cheaper than beef now. Would love some confirmation either way.
Thinking I'll score this one from home, wondering if there are any special scorecards going around with some theming.
The seasoning encrusted sweet potato at Alteno changed my life, anybody have a copycat recipe or know someone who works there?
I'm stuck on crutches and a walking boot for a few months, luckily my left foot so I can still drive. I like just cruising around for some enrichment but getting out to do even a pickup order with both hands on crutches is kinda tough. What are some good veggie options in drive throughs around here? The falafel wrap from Gryoz comes to mind, and ofc our GOAT the black bean crunchwrap supreme.
Recently went vegetarian but been craving a smashburger like the one Right Cream makes. Feel like someone out there has to do one with a Beyond/Impossible patty but have never heard a personal rec.
I'm a new vegetarian and am looking to replace my favorite lunch spots downtown. Currently getting a lot of falafel slop bowls from the Cava on 16th & Market but want to branch out. Looking for mainly fast-casual or at least takeout friendly.
Any suggestions?
I need some inspo for my Together Together nails - post pics of yours to help me get some ideas 🤗
I was pressed up against that obnoxious Cubs fan blasting his facetime at max volume. You said nice hat to me and I gave just kind of an annoyed nod and didn't take my headphones out. Been thinking about it since and feel like I was rude.
I've done some rudimentary electronics projects before (modded my Plus+ with minor soldering etc.) but am looking at a fresh roll of flexible TPU filament and wondering if I could 3D print a magsafe wallet form factor case and transplant the guts of the Plus+ into it. Would be cool to be able to carry it together with my phone without needing a big circle in my pocket.
Just wondering if anybody else has seen a project like this or if I'd be blazing a trail.
