Crows and Lasagna

So it isn't a great picture, but apparently crows love lasagna. My toddler pitched a whole ass fit bc he didn't want it, so I was like "eh, try it for the crows". There WERE more chowing down and doing that 'hey you guys, look what she left!! " calls, but they left to get their crowmies while this dude ate more.

No word on the opinions on Mondays, but I'll update if I find out.

My husband wants to point out that the lasagna took 4 hours to cook and he was going to eat it, but had already taken the boy for a bath while I cleaned up the table. Whoops.

Selling pieces and copyright

I've been crocheting some really cool tapestry patterns that I think would sell at a vendor fair. The patterns aren't my own, but the way they are written, theyre art pieces/wall hangings. Ive been using the squares of tapestry as centerpieces of sweaters and bags and scarves and such, so I'm not 100% ripping off another artist's IP. Can I ethically sell these pieces if I cite the patternmaker's name/title of her books somewhere on my table? Do I need to find a way to contact her and get permission?

I don't usually follow patterns so this has never been an issue for me, but tapestry patterns are HARD to just wing and I don't want to be a theiving asshole, y'know? Any advice is appreciated :)

Found the easter egg

My MIL hosted an egg hunt for the grandkids and came up one egg short. The kids even drew a map of all the places they'd found eggs--the plastic kind you can put candy or whatever in--no dice. She didn't think any more about it until today, when she spotted a possum outside carrying a fun-size bag of gushers in its mouth. It must have taken a while to work out how to open that egg, but good on the possum-- persistence paid off.
