What name do you all think is best for a werewolf jock character? I think it's also important to note that he is basically the jock stereotype and that he is the foil character to the main protagonist. The story takes place in a high school in Massachusetts during the 1980s, but the character is originally from Dickson county in Tennessee. Here are some ideas I came up with, but if you have any other ideas I'd love to hear them!
Dagian Firmen, Dagian Wolfson, Dagian Farkas, Dagian Huntsman, Dagian Redusky, Dagian Ruskin, Dagian Woods, and Dagian Atwood.
It’s extremely selfish and makes me feel like an awful person, but this is the only thing that I actually want to do. The only reason I wouldn’t want to leave this planet is because I won’t be able to finish my series and my family would be sad. I genuinely can’t see much else I want in life. I don’t want a husband because I’m scared of all the things that could go wrong in a relationship and I don’t want kids because I’m afraid to mess them up. I’m afraid of graduation because I’m afraid I won’t have any time to work on my series. I’m not sure what to do with all this.
I was wondering if you guys had any advice on how to deal with this ridiculousness so I can get back to working on my project like a no person and Just be normal. Sorry about my wording, but this is just honest.
What are your favorite kind of stories? What do you think draws you to a good story? What are your least favorite stories and what do you dislike about them?
I’ve been working on a comic series about cryptids. I was wondering if you guys had any favorites that you’d like to share and see more in media.
There is a lady at my work who often talks about her British grandmother and it seems like she was very close to her. I always wondered what It was like and now I’m making a character who is a British grandmother, so it would be super helpful if you all could share some memories. Some prompt questions would be like What food did they cook? What clothes did they wear? What kind of furniture or decor did they have in their home? What are some fond memories you have of them? I’m asking partially because I was never super close to my own grandmothers.
Edit: To be more specific the character is from Yorkshire, is of modest means, and was born in the 1920s and is now 60 years old during the time the story takes place. Also, thank you all for your replies so far I really appreciate it.
Hello! I need to clarify that the title for this post is a really bad summery of the question I’m trying to ask.
For context I’m a story teller who is adding a British character in my story. I know that British people have a slightly different dialect and I would like to reflect that in my story in a natural and authentic way. I was wondering if you all could recommend some places where I can listen to British people talking naturally. I’m specifically looking for the East Anglian dialect.
Some people from another server were asking for specifics so for context my character is a 17 year old boy from Suffolk born in the 1970s.
Hello! I’m an artist that has been practicing making art for story telling purposes for the past six years. My end goal is to make a comic series of my story. I’m currently working in retail and I want to take the next step toward my goals. Should I just start by putting the art that I currently have out there and start a career by working for others or should I just go and create my comic, try to get it published, and maybe make a portfolio out of the concept art that was made for the comic? Here is some of my art that I slapped together in a video: Examples of my artwork
Hello! I’m a comic artist working on a project that needs a few British cryptids. So far the only truly British cryptid I have is Spring-heeled Jack. Are there any interesting mythical creatures that you all grew up hearing about? Are there any ones that you’d want to see represented more in media? Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Apollo has been calling me ever since I could first remember. Over the past six years he has made it abundantly clear over the past six years that he wants me to be a story teller, but I haven’t put a lot of trust or faith in him. I’m scared to answer. Artemis at the same time has always called me, but in a more gentle and patient way while (sorry if this is disrespectful) Apollo has always been more persistent and nagging for lack of a better word. I’m very new to the gods and I’m not sure if I should start with Apollo or Artemis. What should I do when I do choose one?
