Rewatching old eps of the US version and im up to season 7. One of the judges mentioned the winner would be booked on the upcoming MasterChef cruise

Never heard anything about those and totally forgot about them mentioning it.

Did anyone on here ever do or see those cruises?

Edit: seems like it would have lots of cardboard cutouts of the judges

I have a fuzzy memory of Tony Schiavone calling a DDP match (guessing Nitro) and referring to a move DDP does as the “Diamond Dream”. It wasn’t a cutter or his finisher.

I don’t think it was ever mentioned again or even officially.

Was this real or did I dream the dream?

During the World Cup show break, any interest in polls to narrow down the top fan favorite contestant of all time?

Inspired by a series in a pro wrestling sub I follow: could be the top 5 contestants from each season (each season a separate poll) with the winner of each making it to a later round.

I like the contestants on each season have a unique look / vibe with their wardrobe. Sometimes it hits and misses though.

What are some that are a favorite or memorable to you?

For me Leslie’s colorful button up under a waistcoat 🤌🏻 was a favorite on first watch and even more on my rewatch a few days ago.

Edit: close 2nd would be Tommy from S6. Maybe I’m just a fancy boy at heart.

Surely I'm not the only one who noticed this. It's so noticeable I was wondering if there might be a reason? In between the deluge of Seinfeld references, maybe someone knows something about this?

Nearing the end of my old school rewatch. Chappys is up next. When it gets to the Chappy/Crappy line I’m going to jump up and down and trash my living room like a theater on chicken jockey. 🐓🏇

Rewatching some old seasons for the first time.

I love during a team challenge when Joe brings food back to the kitchen, says something sassy, and throws the plate down.

I just wouldn’t be able to take him seriously acting like that.

Gordon gets away with and would make me cringe in fear / shame. Not sure why it works that way.

Started on season 2 episode 1.

Any other recommendations for best seasons or eps to log this weekend?

Peacock has them all in the US but the aspect ratio is off so watching on Tubi, so far so goo.
