I have been playing yugioh again recently after a fair few years away from the game and picked up a couple of the sky striker decks in Legendary decks and have noticed online that the 'meta' decks that are doing well seem to have a lot of going second cards in the side deck. Which leads me to believe you can go first with this deck now.

I haven't been to locals for 3/4 years so I'm incredibly out of practice and almost always ran a going first deck in the past because monkey see monkey flip and I always just assumed sky strikers go second. So its just making me very curious to what match ups do you have to go first and if so what the plan.

Also seeing a lot of the decks run desires / super poly which just seems off and counter intuitive to the sky striker resources / engine. I'm probs wrong as just need educating by someone as I don't have anyone in the competitive scene to speak to about these sort of things and want to be prepared for locals before I go in and hoping the community can help.
