PS5 will be my last Console 🤷‍♂️

I’ve played PlayStation my entire life, From PS1 to Ps5

I put up with the PS+ subscription to play online with the PS4

And I put up with increases in price to this “service” with the PS5…

The exclusives aren’t doing it for me anymore, they tend to come only once a gen anyway, with releases taking longer and longer with each instalment.

Buying games second hand is pretty much my only way of keeping myself from being absolutely ripped off in this hobby

I won’t be putting up with this shit. You do not own digital games, and this will be the last console I buy.

I very rarely buy full price games, but For me, it’s Hogwarts Legacy, and Cyberpunk

Hogwarts Legacy - as a lifelong Harry Potter fan, I was so hyped for this game. I was excited to role play as a Wizard and get immersed into the world. Reality was it was a boring, shallow and repetitive game that grew stale within a couple hours. I found it tedious, and un-immersive.

I ended up swapping it for Dragon Ball Z Sparking Zero.

This was definitely the most Disappointed I’ve been in a game in a long while.

Now to be fair, maybe I expected too much, I did enjoy Hogwarts castle itself, I think they did a good job it’s that, but from the advertising I felt like it was going have a lot more freedom of choice.

Cyberpunk 2077 - I booted that shit up day one on my PS4.… and fuck me….

The fact I had to wait 3 years, finally get my PS5, and wait for the updates to actually play this game? Probably my all time worst purchase. I give the game a solid 8/10 now days, but that initial experience left a majorly bad impression, and is what has pretty much caused me to never pre order or buy into hype for anything ever again ( yet my dumb ass fell for Hogwarts lol)

That’s the problem, a fool and his money are easily parted, and they know it.

I’m not even surprised at this point, but it’s so far beyond me as to how hard these people glaze corporations, who are pulling off the most predatory, scumbag, underhanded bullshit.

They would charge you for the air you breathe if they could, and these people would still get down on their knees, unzip the Rockstar CEO’s pants, and suck till they couldn’t suck no more.

Get a fuckin grip. This game will set the precedent for years to come, it will be detrimental to gaming if these practices becomes “acceptable”

EA, Ubislop, etc will all follow suit, start charging $120 USD for their “AAAA” Masterpieces (not that I play their dog shit games anyway)

$80 USD for the Lite version of the game with In-Game stores and features omitted intentionally, so they can sell them back to you in the $100 actually complete version? Neither of which come truly physical. Just a code in a box. We haven’t even seen gameplay ffs.

Really struggling to find smaller sized shoes (US 4 Men’s) and this is pretty much all I’ve been able to come across. Anyone here used em?
