Am I crazy this is a little annoying that it looks so different than the photos in the listing strictly in color also would anyone be able to help me identify the year of this bag?
Hey everyone! I just pulled the trigger on a Celine Luggage Tote on The RealReal, but reading back through the listing details has me thoroughly confused and laughing a little bit at TRR's copywriters.
Here is what the listing says vs. what the photos show:
Size Confusion: The estimated measurements say it's ~7", which is Nano size. BUT looking closely at the listing photos, there are zero D-rings or strap attachments, so it physically cannot be a Nano.
Model Discrepancy: TRR titled it a "Phantom Medium" and added "braided accents" and “ suede lining” in the description.
Condition: It's listed in "Fair condition," but the photos look surprisingly great. The only noted flaw is "major wear at hardware."
So now I'm playing a guessing game: Did they accidentally use the Phantom master template for a classic top-handle Luggage Mini/Micro, or am I actually getting a slouchy Phantom Medium with a braided zip pull where they completely butchered the measurement box?
Either way, I bought it because the Celine Luggage silhouette is my absolute favorite (I already own the Nano in black and desperately wanted a bigger option for travel, regardless of trends!).
Has anyone else received a bag from TRR where the title, details, and dimensions were entirely at war with each other? What ended up showing up at your door?
I ordered this Fendi FW2017 piece for $380. They didn’t mark the size, so I took a gamble on the “S” they had listed. It ended up being an IT 38, which is perfect for me.
It also said the condition was “good.” It came in, and after a full inspection, it is flawless and looks like it was never worn once.
It has mink on the sleeves and is wool and cashmere. It was a phenomenal find.
I’m unsure what it retailed for, but I’m going to believe it was a lot more than I paid.
Update found an archived modesens product page for the coat and it retailed for 3900
