Is the 2026 World Cup all about the "Last Dance" for Messi and Ronaldo?

With the World Cup starting in just a few weeks, almost all the media coverage and fan discussions are focusing on one major storyline: the potential last dance for Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
It feels like the entire tournament is being treated as a farewell tour for these two legends.
Do you think this hyper-focus on their legacy is good for the tournament, or is it distracting from the new generation of stars and the 48 teams competing? Are you watching this World Cup for the final chapter of the GOAT debate, or are you already over the media hype?

Trump’s "Zero Respect" Diplomacy: Why he admires China, rackets the Gulf, and tramples on Macron and Europe?

In 2026, Trump has made it clear: he only respects what he can't break.
China (Xi Jinping): Total respect. Why? Because Xi is a strongman with raw power and a massive army.
Trump treats him as his only equal on Earth. It’s respect born of fear and envy.
He bows to the only guy who can punch him back.
The Gulf States: Zero respect. He sees them as ATMs.
No matter how much they pay, he treats them like subordinates in a protection racket.
His message: "You wouldn't last a week without me, so keep the cash coming.
" They buy his time, but never his respect.
Europe and Macron: Total contempt.
He sees the EU as a weak doormat and Macron as a talker with no teeth.
To Trump, if you don't have the military power of China or the checkbook of the Saudis, you are just a "free-rider" to be stepped on.
Is it time for Europe to stop talking and start being feared, or is the doormat status permanent?

Fruit seed initiative for our countryside

I found this great initiative that worked in Thailand and Malaysia, and I think we should definitely try it here in Algeria.
What do you guys think? Is this something we could start this summer?

I was watching the Euronews "Big Question" interview with Tony’s Chocolonely CEO, Douglas Lamont, and it got me thinking about the math of "ethical" consumption.
In 2026, the reality of the chocolate supply chain is still gut-wrenching:
• The Worker (Koffi, Ivory Coast): He earns about €1.15 per day. Since the market price crash earlier this year, his income has been slashed by nearly 60%. He sees less than 6% of the final price of the bar.
• The CEO (Douglas Lamont): For a company hitting €240M in revenue, the standard CEO package is estimated around €450,000/year.
The Math of Inequality:
If Koffi works every single day of the year, it will take him 1,072 years to earn the CEO's annual salary.
Tony’s Chocolonely is arguably the "best" in the industry—they pay a 45% premium and fight for a Living Income.
But even their "fairer" model highlights a broken global system where the person providing the raw material lives in extreme poverty while the person marketing the "solution" lives in extreme wealth.
Is it possible to have "ethical" chocolate within a capitalist framework, or is the term just a marketing band-aid on a systemic wound?
TL;DR: Even in the most ethical chocolate companies, the income gap between the West African farmer and the European CEO is over 1000:1.

Compared to the current situation in Europe and the USA, I feel we’ve reached a turning point here.
It’s not a mass exit, but the era of blind confidence is over. We are now in a situation where many are:
“Present… but ready to leave at any moment.”
Do you feel this lingering detachment, or are you still 100% all-in on the "Desert Dream"?

Is it just me, or are ball boys becoming a real plague in modern football? What used to be a simple job is turning into a strategic performance.

They hide the ball, they throw it away, they slow down play... they’re acting like they’re part of the starting XI.

In a few weeks, the World Cup begins. The last thing we need is a crucial quarter-final decided by a 14-year-old kid trying to be a 'tactician' for his home country. FIFA needs to step in.

It’s not 'smart', it’s unsportsmanlike and frustrating for the fans.

Should ball boys be strictly neutral and penalized for game interference?

YES or NO?⚽️🚫🧤

Just when we thought the Zidane era was the only option, José Mourinho’s name is back in the shadows of the Bernabéu.

In 2026, the club needs discipline, tactical grit, and someone who isn't afraid to fight the world.

Florentino Pérez has always had a soft spot for José’s mentality. If the deal for France and Zidane goes through, Mourinho might be the chosen one to lead our stars.

Are you ready for 'Mourinho Ball' again, or is this a step backward? YES or NO? ⚪️🔥

While Trump associates suggested replacing Iran with Italy for the 2026 World Cup, the Italian government has firmly rejected the idea. Italy’s Sports Minister, Andrea Abodi, insisted that "qualification must be earned on the pitch," refusing a political invitation over sporting merit. It’s a refreshing stand for the integrity of the game, proving that some things are more important than just being in the tournament.
