I just found out from someone in my family that when they purchased a new scooter from any brand, the dealership is supposed to give 2 helmets. Keeping that in mind, I was checking here on reddit if anyone did but apparently 90% of people never got 2 complimentary helmets and funnily the last 10% are only from Maharashtra.

Well since I am at KL and the rules here are strictly enforced.... I really hope my dealer gives me 2 helmets. Yes, I know it would be the half faced helmet but a helmet is a helmet and I would like to have 2 as pillion laws in KL are really strict as well.

I do have a nice ECE certified helmet but it's in Ahmedabad and I don't think I can just send it here since my fam is using a scooter 😔.

Booked it 2 days ago and the dealer was saying that they had a stock of it readily… well I didn’t pursue it and chose to wait for the next stock to be delivered which was done yesterday.

The color is the matte blue one so yippeee.. its 1.75 on road with 6k accessories.

I was kinda worried about the stock issue but im glad it didnt affect mine.

Edit: Also got 8 year warranty for 1.5k

I would really love some suggestions.

For context,
My father recently retired from the Gulf and all his life he has driven a sedan with a small point of time in his life i.e 5 years when he drove a Peugeot that essentially was a caravan (Can't remember the name of the vehicle). As he has now returned back to his home, he is searching for a nice car that essentially gives you good space and good reliability.

Of course, he was more interested in the Japanese cars as his last car was a Nissan that lasted for (and I'm not even joking) almost for 14 fricking years. Regarding the model, it was a Sunny and he loved that car to the core. He liked Elevate but I called him out on the NVH issues on that car which could be a tad bit annoying. We both liked the Creta but the prices is just insane and for a good decent Creta, it really costs much.

I have been liking the new Seltos for a long time as it looked really good in my eyes. My father isn't too keen on a Kia as in the Gulf market, the Kia cars aren't doing too great or actually great by any chance even though they have more varieties (for example, Sportage or Stinger [these cars are Kia's magnum opus as before they became the brand they are now, these cars sold the most and was actually the most reliable out of all their models back then]). I did explain that the Kias over here are very much different to that and he liked the Seltos virtually (virtually because we haven't yet visited a showroom).

So I decided to pursue the price list and upon learning the model I desired and it's price, I am kinda shocked on how exorbitant road taxes are in this state man. Even though I can confidently say that my father could very much buy a really luxury car, he is still not keen on spending sub 20 lakhs on a car as he feels it's depreciating asset.

I agree with him and now I am just hella confused on whether we should step down and go for a HTK which is fairly good in my eyes but I would miss what I would call "Chanthi Cooling Seats" (hehe Malayalam pun which roughly translates to "Gaand Cooling Seats or Bum Cooling seats") or the appropriate team is ventilated seats. I think it's a nice thing to have and really saves you. But considering these prices, I think I would be down to trade that for normal seats with really good interiors.

Funnily I don't know my father enough as he can pull out random shenanigans and we might buy a GTX or something but considering my dilemma, what would be the appropriate choice.

TL;DR
Want to pursue HTK(O) but the price in Kerala and the road taxes here are insane, so should we just settle for HTK?

Mind you, a lot of people downvoted me for saying that they won't get back together for a really good time.

Of course, I also believed in the idea that Sasaki should have his self respect and keep some distance (I fought tooth and nail with some people in this sub for this thought too because in any relationship albeit be it friend or lovers, you always have to keep some form of self respect... yes there's a fine line to know that it doesn't matter but in this case, hell naw) and to be honest I am so glad that this manga is so closely following a real mature relationship between 2 adults.

To be honest, I really hated how this sub wanted Sasaki and Yamada to be in a relationship.. to me, their relationship is more than friends and more like they are a support pillar for each other. Of course, I know that this manga will most likely end on them being together but I think the general purpose of this story is to explain that people have different things going on in their life that is either really good or really bad for them and how holding the bad things generally end up hurting people around you and this chapter i.e. 63 and the previous i.e. 62... really showcased those feelings.

Of course, for stating my opinions I will be downvoted to hell but I would really love it if Jinushi keeps this distance for some more chapters and that they have an enlightenment moment that fixes this thing.
