10 Day Trip with Camera Gear

Looking for advice on how to pack (if it’s possible comfortably) for a 10ish day trip to Europe. I’m a photographer, so I’d like to bring my camera plus at least one medium sized zoom lens. I also would want to bring my MacBook Pro and the necessary charging cords and adapters. New to onebagging, so looking for advice on what to consider, what I should be thinking about, what’s necessary/not necessary, and any packing tips. I do have packing cubes and backpacks/duffels of varying sizes. Not sure whether a duffel bag would even be a viable option, though it would be slightly larger than my backpacks and still carry on size. Flying Delta round trip, open to spending up to 200 USD if needed for random things to be better prepared. I can do laundry if needed jn hotels, so packing list will probably be a handful of shirts and shorts, and a nicer outfit. Probably will only bring one or two pairs of shoes. Thanks in advance!

Sixty11th Opinions

Looking to lease at Sixty11th, and was wondering what people thought of living there. How’s the management? Is it noisy? Do they enforce the no-smoking policy? My current apartment has a no smoking policy too but there’s always people smoking on their balconies. How’s the parking situation? What’s it like for guests? Thanks in advance!

Blurry Lunar Photos

I’ve been getting into astrophotography recently and have been using my Sony a7Riii and Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3. I’ve been using manual focus, ISO around 50-100, f/9, and 1/100 shutter speed. But all my images keep coming out blurry. They look great on the camera, but once I pull them into Lightroom they look very grainy. I’m using a tripod and I’ve tried both a 5 second timer and using the Sony software on my computer to capture so I’m not touching the camera at all. I know a longer lens would probably help some, but I feel like at least part of my problem is how I’m taking the pictures. Looking for suggestions or ideas for things to try.

I mostly shoot landscape and wildlife photography, and I don’t usually share it with other people except maybe on my personal instagram or website, but never in a way where I intend it to be downloaded. However, I’ve offered to shoot graduation pictures for a few different people/groups of people in the coming days and weeks, and I was curious what everyone uses to share photos with people. I have a Dropbox subscription with 3tb of storage (more than enough) but it doesn’t seem like it’s a super efficient way to let people download individual and selected images after a photoshoot. There’s obviously paid gallery options (I’ve looked at Pixieset and SmugMug), but I don’t really want to pay for something like that since 75%+ of my photos are landscape or wildlife that aren’t meant to be shared in that way. I know it probably makes the most sense to just stick with Dropbox since I only have a handful of grad shoots for right now, but I am wondering if anyone has suggestions for other ways I could store and manage sharing my photos in the future, knowing that it’s only a small part of the photography I do. One other thing is that I don’t plan to actually sell any of my photos (photoshoots are for friends and I’m doing it for free), so I don’t need the ability to do that.
