Amazon now showing 150g, but actual pack received is 140g — misleading listing?

I ordered Parle Fab! Jam-In Biscuits from Amazon, and the product page clearly showed 150g.

But after receiving the pack, I checked the backside and it says Net Weight: 140g printed on it.

The listing even shows “Previously bought” and still mentions 150g, which feels misleading because customers are paying based on the displayed quantity.

I’m not sure if:

Amazon uploaded the wrong product details,

the manufacturer reduced the quantity without updating listings,

or sellers are using old images/details.

Either way, this is confusing and unfair for buyers.

Has anyone else noticed this happening with grocery products on Amazon lately?

Should I report this to Amazon support or file a complaint for misleading product information?

Why is Zepto selling ₹10 Mother Dairy Chaas for just ₹6

Just noticed this on Zepto today — Mother Dairy Probiotic Tadka Chach (270 ml) has an MRP of ₹10, but Zepto is selling it for only ₹6. That’s a straight 40% discount on a product that’s already super cheap.

I get discounts on expensive items, but how are they making money on something like this? Delivery, packaging, storage, rider cost… everything included, and still selling below MRP feels crazy.

Are brands like Mother Dairy funding these discounts for customer acquisition?

Or is Zepto just burning cash to keep users hooked on quick commerce?

Also noticed these kinds of deals mostly happen on dairy/snack items. Curious how this business model actually works.

Anyone here working in FMCG or quick commerce who can explain the economics behind this?

Hey folks,

Wanted to check if anyone has recent confirmation on this:

Does the Jupiter Edge+ (CSB RuPay Credit Card) still give 10% cashback on Amazon Pay gift card (APay GC) purchases via Amazon?

I know the card officially gives 10% cashback on Amazon spends , but not sure how gift cards are treated currently.

My doubts:

Is the 10% CB still working on Amazon Pay gift vouchers?

Or has it been reduced to 1% / excluded recently?

What’s the correct way to do it:

Pay using a saved card (direct CC details on Amazon)

OR via Jupiter app / UPI on credit (RuPay)

What I’ve heard (not sure if it's true):

Some people earlier got 10% on APay GC via Amazon

But recently, there are reports of only \~1% cashback due to MCC change

Also saw suggestions like buying vouchers directly instead of wallet load

Would really help if you can share:

Latest DP (date + method used)

Whether it worked with full 10% or not

Any working trick (if still alive )

Trying to decide if this card is still worth it mainly for APay stacking.

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

Posting this on behalf of a friend who’s a bit confused about IGNOU project rules.

They had submitted their synopsis in the April–June session 2025, and it got approved in May 2025. But unfortunately, they missed submitting the final project in the December session that year.

Now they’re planning to submit their project in the December 2026 session. The main doubt is — can they still use that same approved synopsis from 2025 and submit the project based on it? Or will they need to prepare and get a new synopsis approved again?

If anyone here has dealt with a similar situation or knows how IGNOU handles this, it would really help.

Thanks in advance!

▲ 2 r/Zomato

I ordered from Zomato today (from Rolls King), and this isn’t the first time I’ve had items missing.

This time I ordered a roll along with a cheesy dip and 2 ketchup sachets. The order arrived, but the ketchup and cheesy dip were missing.

What’s more frustrating is that when I raised it on the app, the Zomato bot just told me to send an email instead of resolving it directly.

Honestly:

- This isn’t the first time items have been missing from this outlet

- There’s no quick resolution in-app anymore

- Being redirected to email feels like they’re just avoiding refunds

Has anyone here actually gotten a resolution by emailing Zomato support?

Do they refund or compensate, or is it just a waste of time?

Would appreciate hearing your experiences before I bother writing a mail.

▲ 29 r/swiggy

So I tried out this newly launched app called Toing that’s heavily advertising “lowest price guaranteed”, no delivery fee, no packaging fee, etc. It sounded great, so I decided to test it properly.

I added the exact same items from the same restaurant on both Swiggy and Toing to compare.

Here’s what I found:

On Swiggy (with coupon applied): ₹136 total

On Toing (same items, same restaurant): ₹226 total

That’s already a huge difference.

Now Toing has this campaign where they say if your cart is the same and their price isn’t lower, they’ll give you 2x cashback. So I tried that too.

They gave only ₹50 “free cash”, which already feels low for a ₹90 difference.

After applying that, final price became ₹187

So even after their so-called compensation, it’s still more expensive than Swiggy (₹136).

For fairness:

I have Swiggy One, so delivery is free there

But even if I manually add delivery charges on Swiggy, total comes to around ₹184, which is still cheaper than Toing’s ₹187

Also, coupons were applied on both apps.

So what exactly is this “lowest price guarantee”? 🤔

Feels very misleading:

Inflated base prices?

Tiny cashback that doesn’t actually bridge the gap

Marketing doesn’t match reality at all

Has anyone else tried this app and noticed the same thing?

Hey folks,

Bit confused about something with my HDFC Swiggy credit card.

I made a ₹25,000 transaction recently, and the cashback got credited in just 2 days. I honestly wasn’t expecting it that fast — I thought cashback usually comes after the statement is generated.

But here’s the weird part: the cashback from my last statement still hasn’t been credited at all. So now I’m confused why one came almost instantly while the other hasn’t shown up yet.

Is there any fixed rule for cashback credit on this card? Does it vary by merchant/offer or timing or something?

Would really appreciate it if someone using the same card can share their experience!
