I am having so much difficulty trying to get Hotsync to work on my computer. I have a Dana device. I have downloaded PalmOS and NeoManager. It seems my main problem is I can't get my computer to recognize the device as anything other than a HID Keyboard. I have downloaded both the Janam and Aceeca and each time I try to manually force my chosen driver I get this message.

I am desperately trying to find a way to transfer files from my Dana to my computer in a readable and editable file format that ideal will maintain formatting. I am not tech savy, I have been scouring archives to try and trouble shoot these things but I am way out of my depth.

What does this mean?

My SD card got totally corrupted when I hit cancel. I haven’t done anything differently in how I’m using it. My backup SD card is now in and it’s saying the same thing

Please tell me my SD card isn’t corrupted

Using Dana and when to switch from File 1 to File 2 and it made me save it before I switched (it doesn’t normally do that) and next thing I know my files are missing off my SD card and my Dana and the SD card looks like this when I plug it into my computer.

The file in question is supposed to be “1JOHNO~1.PDB” although that is not what I named it and it’s supposed to be at least 69 kb

For those that got shingles at a younger than typical age, how old were you when you first got it, have you gotten it since, were you vaccinated against chickenpox or have chickenpox?

My husband got shingles on his forehead scalp and eyelid this week. Had chickenpox as a kid. We decided to do post exposure prophylaxis vaccines for our children to try and prevent them from getting shingles since my husband is so young. But I got me thinking about how do they know that the vaccine reduces your chances of developing shingles if mass vaccination didn’t occur until 1995? Just curious what others experience has been.

Troubleshooting Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher

Ran a cycle overnight, looks like cycle finished but woke up to this error code I don’t know how to decipher.

After trying to hit start/clear a bunch of times the pump is now running seemingly constantly when door is closed.
No sitting water in the bottom, dishes are clean.

I have tried to hard reset by unplugging and it says power failure (pF) and then rA and goes back to flashing the error code in the picture.

Is it possible to tell just from these pictures if any of these are outlets? House was built in 1969. It was switched to 200 amp service in 2012 and that’s all I know about it.

First picture is standard ground level on the 4th wall of a bedroom with one outlet on each of the other 3 walls.

Second picture is a standard ground level outlet on the 3rd wall of a bedroom with one outlet on 2 of the other 4 walls (4th wall is mostly a closet and behind a door, makes sense to have no outlet there). And yes, I cracked the plate in half trying to get it unstuck from the wall bc of so many layers of being painted over.

Third picture is light switch level right next to the switch for the living room fan.

We are constantly getting previous owners mail in our box even though I wrote our last name on the inside of the lid.

I was under the impression that postal workers are annoyed when you write “Not at this address” bc you’ve defaced the mail but they’re also annoyed if you write it on a sticky note bc it can clog the sorting machines.

Most recently I just put it back in the mail box with the flag up with no note or writing but when the mailman took it out he STILL looked annoyed and confused why I put it back. Is there just no winning?

We have 3 major concerns. Two of which stem from a tree that was taken down at some point by a previous owner.

  1. The roots: we have looked at the options for taking the stump out but there are still roots that are resurfacing in various spots. Do we have to dig those up in their entirety or just below the surface of the soil cut them and level off the dirt?
  2. The weeds: this is the most out of our wheel house. The first picture shows these super tall thorny weeds that spring up as it gets warmer. In our removal of the bark we have seen their thick white roots within the grass roots. Are these something to dig up, smother with cardboard, or kill with weed killer? What does that process look like?

ETA: I guess I should have been even more specific. The tall grass in that field is not our property. Where the grass is mowed is where our property ends. I am referring specifically to the area around the concrete pad

In the process of making this edit apparently my third point got deleted but I believe my question about it was answered. So I won’t bother to type it out. It was about a bunch of buried bark in the patch.

Are you guys using no brand name Amazon 1GB SD cards? What is the risk with corruption of the card with those?

Looking to buy a Dana that doesn’t come with a power supply, no sure which AC adapter size it needs.

Specific links would be awesome! I’m not a techy person so a lot of this info sounds like gibberish to me. Looking for a ELI5 run down of what I’m getting myself into.
