Tiny Titanium Lightsabers!

I've been really into making these lately. Tiny Lego-sized glowing titanium sabres . Start off with some 5mm 6al4v bar stock, and rough the general shape . Then transfer to the milling machine and mill the hilt . From there I sand blast, then electrically blacken the whole thing. Then back to the mill to mill the trigger button. Then anodise the blue . Then back to the lathe to finish cut the gold bit, then back the anodiser to colour it. After that I polish away anything that shouldn't be black , before masking everything but the hilt , so I can blast clean the grooves . Sounds like a lot of work , but pretty simple compared to what I usually do , and more importantly, it's fun 😁

Extra tiny Titanium Lightsabers!

Made these today , surgical titanium, with hyperglow blades . Both weigh around a gram . Hopefully, you can tell what designs they're supposed to be 😬

Tiny Titanium Sabre

0.5 gram titanium Nano sabre . These are pretty fiddly to make, but a fun project if you like lego or starwars . The blades made from a strontium impregnated resin rod. You can buy the material from a guy in Cyprus , TX . It charges in daylight, and glows for hours!

Lightsaber inspired SpinClicker!

Needa some tweaks still , but kinda cool already. Can you guess the sabre ? All titanium, except the glow insert at the business end

Opinions on ratios 🤔

Making a lightsabre inspired fidget toy for a buddy . Its supposed to be along the lines of the original Luke sabre , but nkt convinced about the ratios . Does the end bit need to be bigger ? Or the gold bit thinner ? Appreciate any input from the hive mind . Thanks

Extra tiny , titanium Sabre

Made this little half gram, titanium glow sabre for my minifigs. Not a perfect rep , but close enough I think 🤔
