REO Speedwagon misheard lyric - Can't Fight This Feeling
... And even as I wander
I'm kicking you aside

en.wikipedia.orgGate vs "back" gate.
Here's my house set up: The front garden has no gate. The whole garden is given over to tarmac. There is a path (quite narrow) past the extension, which accommodates the kitchen. The path ends, and a gate stands between the kitchen and the border fence. Going further takes you into the backyard/garden. My wife calls this the back gate. There is no front gate (as stated earlier), so it's simply the gate.
