Weird tube I found in my toilet.

So my toilet has been malfunctioning every now and then. The water would keep flowing even after it's done flushing not letting the tank fill up.

I used to fix it by turning the spinny thingy to the left of the toilet and pressing the flush button a couple of times. However today it didn't work.

So today I decided to open the lid and figure out what's going on which is when I found this thing.

I'm not a plumber so can someone explain what I just fished out and what exactly it was blocking? I'm pretty sure it's been stuck like that for a couple of years now.

I HATE THIS EVIL FUCKING SHOWER THAT BARELY FICKING WORKS

This junk is the biggest waste of iron manganese and chromium that I had the displeasure to use. Every single fucking time I try to use it I end up sitting naked in that garbage, poorly lit bathtub waiting for the water temperature to stabilise at a value acceptable for human life.

And NO it's not just annoying. THAT THING IS SENTIENT. It enjoys making me suffer. I'm 78% sure it is possessed by some sort of shower demon.

Here's how it usually goes. First it plays nice, the temperature becomes comfortable after just a few adjustments, you cover yourself in water, "maybe this time it'll be fine?" you think. BUT NO! It's just trying to get you to lower your guard. The MOMENT you put shampoo on your head and apply the soap, IT STRIKES! Suddenly the water becomes cold. "Has the hot water ran out?" You think in horror. You frantically turn the lever to the left. Now the watter is too hot. You try to put it somewhere in the middle. It's still hot. Then you put the lever at it's initial position. IT'S STILL HOT. You try various things, different temperatures, different water pressures, you try waiting, you try turning it off and on again. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. It toys with you for 6 or 7 minutes while you're still covered in shampoo. You can't just stop, you NEED to get it to work to wash the soap away. Only after all of that, does it finally trach a comfortable temperature and let you finish.

I'd love to recite AM's hate monologue, but I can't. Not when I myself am getting tormented by a machine.

Found an old GPU in a trash pile outside my house. Can anyone identify it?

Also a monitor and a DVD drive from the same trash pile as a bonus.
