I am working my desk / home office setup with some renders.

I want to incorperate a standing desk into the normal desk, I am wondering if anyone has ever done it?

This is the first renders I have made. You can see the white outline where the standing desk should be, designer forgot the legs and the dimensions are somewhat wrong.

I needed Wifi in the front yard because I sometimes work there and want to open the gates from there and control the house. But I didn’t want to drill into the building because the ideal location was not too beautiful because the outside sirene is alrady there.

So after some discussions with Claude, we came up with this solution. Added a flex switch to a location which holded a G6 bullet. Was able to run the cables through the pole and finish it off nicely with rubbers to repel potential water.

Now after the summer, will dig up again and put some hedging around it.

ps: I know it’s better to put it at an height, but the distance to travel is only 5 meter open space max. So this doesn’t hurt

Still figuring out why the speed is only FE, while other devices are GBE.

I am unsure where to picture and position the car.

Just need to:
- add led
- get shorter cables with dedicated color

Questions, regarding best practice:
- Side cables or cables from above nas to switch / from switch to UDM
- to hide the automation module + modem or not to hide
- to use black screws from rack or to use unifi screws?
- anything cool to add? I think fans might be overkill or not with this setup?
