Is a 25 inch wide standing desk actually usable for everyday WFH?
I'm graduating in a few weeks and will probably be moving to the Bay Area for my first full-time job. Most of the studios I’m looking at are somewhere around 350–450 sq ft, so a normal 48- or 60-inch desk would become a pretty permanent part of the living space.
I’ll be working from home two or three days a week. My setup is fairly light: a 14-inch laptop, a 24-inch monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I don’t need drawers or space for a desktop PC.
I’ve started looking at folding desks under 30 inches wide instead. The musso d7 is currently on my shortlist because its desktop is roughly 25 × 19 inches, but I can’t tell whether that depth would feel cramped after a full workday. I would remove the monitor before adjusting or moving the desk, so I’m mainly concerned about normal typing stability at standing height.
For anyone who has used a sub-30-inch folding standing desk long term, was the real limitation desktop depth, typing wobble, or having to set it up and put it away every day?
