A Frenchman, Brit and Russian go to the Louvre, and are admiring Michelangelo’s painting of Adam and Eve.

Looking at the painting, the Brit says, “look how reserved and calm they look. They are obviously British.”

The Frenchman says, “no no non, they are beautiful, naked and free. They are obviously French.”

The Russian says, “nah, they are Russian; they are naked, cold, have one apple to eat between them, and have been told they are in Paradise.”

Help from the Tiktok saavy musicians here

Does anyone know where the TikTok for Artists support form went?

I'm logged in to TikTok for Artists. I go to the Help Center, which doesn't have any helpful info for our situation, and it says to access the TikTok support form. There is an article about the support form (shown in the video), which says to either click the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of each article (there is no "contact us" link at the bottom of the page), or click the direct link to the form. If you watch the video, I click the link and the page does not exist.

We have an issue where a release of our latest track was live for three days, then a copyright claim was made on it (we own the master recording, and our distributor said it was cleared for ContentID, and it is still live on other platforms), and the track got pulled. We own it, so we are trying to get it reinstated, but there is no way to contact artist support. Does anyone have a hack to contact artist support?

Sparrowharp owners… what are your thoughts on weight, size, and portability for travel?

Already own several harps. Considering a Sparrow because of a need to take it on a plane. Wondering how the instrument and case would do as carry-on (21-bar model).

Also curious about how easy it is to re-felt if needed down the line compared to OS. Are the felt-sizes standard or something different/unique?

Backyard Squirrels addicted to our chair cushions.

Obviously wanting cushioning for their nest but they have literally destroyed the cushions. Still, can't be mad at them. We have bought new cushions and are triple-covering them, or worse, we are going to have to plastic wrap them like the furniture in old people's homes in the 70's. If anyone has any other suggestions on how we can peacefully co-exist without having our cushions destroyed we would love to know!

Tried the Silver Palate low-so marinara. Not impressed.

I normally get the Sprouts store brand low-sodium which has only 40mg per serving, but I was out of town and the local store only had Silver Palate. It had 140mg per 1/2 cup so I thought I was in for something more tasty. Wrong. I actually prefer the Sprouts brand. Just goes to show that other ingredients matter.

My DT app is taking up ~150 gb of space.

I know I need to delete some Models/Loras I don't use anymore... will that bring this size down? Where/how do I do that? Is there something else that is making it take up this much space? Easily the largest app on my HD.

Music had value just by being music

When I would anxiously arrive home from the combination book and record store in town with 10-20 albums I picked up for less than $20 total, then I'd position myself lying on my back on the floor with my head perfectly between two 24-inch tall wooden cabinet speakers.

It wasn't background music in a game, or a movie, or ever seen in a commercial or an ad, most of it didn't even have a promotional film or video, and if they did, it wasn't made for the public. It wasn't a playlist designed to maintain a specific, narrow BPM or a mood or "vibe." Even the concept albums took one on a journey, with varying tempos and moods, imparting whatever the artist and producers pulled out of the ether and decided needed to be transmitted out to the rest of us.

I'd lose hours like that, reading the gatesleeve, or closing my eyes. I existed for the music and in that moment it existed for me.

And then if a band you liked came to town, if they were huge you camped outside the ticket office overnight to be first to buy tickets, and if they weren't huge you could catch them on a bill with 5-6 other bands for around $15. Or even better, see the local bands play all day at the end-of-term outdoor parties at the local college, for free.

Music had value all by itself. It didn't need cool visuals, the right hashtags, I discovered it by listening to the local college station or by spending hours going through all the bins at the record store.

And if you had a crush on someone you'd spend hours putting all the best songs on a cassette, doing the math so that every square inch of tape had music right to the end, and if you didn't add everything up right, the last song got cut off you would have to start all over. Yet I still wouldn't call that time wasted.

Because it was still just you and the music.

I want to go back.

PSA: Griffith Observatory has cancelled tonight’s Star Party due to smoke

There are concerns for people’s safety and also smoke is bad for telescopic equipment. Current AQ readings are >90 but have been rising.

This ad for MURICAN flags from Amazon

Not mine. I found it in the wild. Not spectacularly cursed, but that almost makes it worse.

Title. The login screen gets stuck and never loads until the connection times out. No issue on Chrome-based Brave, Safari, Microsoft.

This was and is my main browser but what did they change so that this is happening now?
