Celebrating Hobbit Day with some Hobbit art!

Here is some Hobbit related art I have made over the last year! The first is inspired by the Inside Information chapter, with my own design for Smaug that’s heavily inspired by Tolkien’s art. The second is inspired by Fog on the Barrow-downs (not from The Hobbit, I know, but it has a hobbit in it). The last is a Magic: The Gathering proxy I made for a friend

Inside Information by Wade Johnson

Here is my “The Hobbit” inspired painting! Creating my own design for Smaug was a fun challenge, I really enjoyed blending design elements from various incarnations of the character to create my own version of such an iconic creature!
