I'm so happy! I've heard people say they sometimes find dolls at Ross, but I never had until today! She's so pretty! The funny thing is, there were two of her there! I left the second there for someone else to find and get excited about :3

I'm so tired of this shit. I'm tired of constantly checking if something is real or fake. I'm tired of finding AI art across the internet when I'm looking for stickers or coloring books or something. I'm tired of all the stupid people making shit up to support ai. I'm tired of data centers destroying the environment and taking up so much space. I'm tired of all the horrible things people create with ai to please their fetishes or ideologies. I'm tired of people refusing to use their brain and outsourcing their thoughts to ai. I'm tired of this. Of everything. I can't post my art without worrying that someone will feed it to that damn machine. I can't indulge in my hobbies without having to constantly be vigilant of fake shit. I have to sit by and watch as people I know and love fall deeper into this ai hellhole and become increasingly more ok with it. Why did this have to happen. Why do we live in the worst timeline. Why can nobody understand that this isn't a good thing. Why are so many people defending it. I want it to be over. Can the bubble please pop already. We'd be so much better off without that shit. What do I do. Do I just give up? Do I just let it take over our lives? What's the point?

My ranch is nearly fully automated with drones that bring food to corrals and bring plorts to the market. However, I fully upgraded all my gardens, and they're producing a LOT of extra fruit and veggies. I feel bad leaving it all to sit and rot, so I've been putting into my silo, but it only has so much space. I've popped almost every gordo, fully explored the map (I think) and am working my way towards getting every treasure pod. So what do I do with the extra food??? Just toss it??? I already give so much to my fire slimes but it feels silly to have like, 12 incinerators to get loads of fire plorts.
I would just buy needles and cut them myself, but I've scratched myself and snapped them too many times, and I really don't want to keep injuring myself to root my dolls. Does anyone know any good sellers that sell durable, pre-cut rerooting needles?
I'm relatively new to doll customizing, and I'm currently trying to reroot a doll, but I keep breaking my needles! The little prongs used for holding the hair in place keep snapping off, and I don't know what to do! I've already snapped three needles, and I'm on my last one. Am I being too rough? Are the needles just low quality? They're from the Doll Planet, so I assume they'd be the correct ones.
The doll is just a g1 Elissabat, so the head shouldn't be too tough, right? I'd heat it up to make it softer but I don't have anything that would work, like a hair dryer or something.

I got some dolls at the thrift store, and each one was in a bag with another doll. I don't collect barbies or such, so I have no clue who these three are. I also don't know if the clothes they're wearing are what they come with normally.
So I sold something on ebay awhile ago, around May 31st, and they still haven't received it? They only live a few states away, so it should have arrived by now. Although, I don't have a printer, so I figured if I wrote the address on the envelope, it would work the same way, right? I knew that meant no tracking number, but it should be there by now. I don't know what to do. Am I just being impatient? Did I screw up by writing the address on the envelope instead of printing the label? I couldn't have printed it though...

I found some nice yarn I want to use for my dolls, but it's Orlon Acrylic. Does that work for doll hair wefts or should I find JUST acrylic. Is there a difference?
I'm making some of my ocs as custom dolls, but I have no clue what type of hair to use for each one! I was thinking nylon, specifically the high-temp nylon silk from The Doll Planet, but I have no clue if some other kind would be better. Any advice? The colors I want aren't exactly shown in the photo bc my phone camera and the lighting kinda sucks, but yeah. Any help is appreciated!
I've been getting into doll customizing recently, but painting the bodies has been a bane to my existence! The paint is bulking up and scratching off, it's uneven and sloppy even after multiple coats, it's hindering the joints, and the sealant I'm using leaves the dolls feeling sandy and gross! I don't know what to do! I want to start over but I've already done so much and don't want to start all over again! I'm so stuck 😭
How do you get the paint to stop chipping off? I don't have pastels or an airbrush, and I can't get one because I'm broke. Maybe I'm just impatient and not letting the paint fully dry, or maybe I used the wrong materials. I don't know. I'm so tempted to give up but I really don't want to.

I'm planning on customizing my g3 Lagoona doll into an OC of mine, but I've seen people have trouble painting over her clear legs. How would you guys tackle this issue? I don't have a primer to use, but I've been thinking of getting some to use for all my projects. Idk, what would you guys recommend?
Title is a tad confusing, but idk how to describe what I need. I'm trying to add body mods to a doll, but the clay I'm using dries really hard, so it cracks off and doesn't stick to the doll. I've tried scoring the plastic and roughing it up with sandpaper, but it's just too crackly and dry. Does anyone know of a good air dry clay that hardens slightly softer than that? I know Epoxy sculpt seems to work well, but I really don't want to deal with wasting gloves every time I want to sculpt because I despise the feeling of latex, and I don't want an oven bake clay because the dolls I'm working on are plastic. The brand I'm using currently is just Crayola air dry clay, so I shouldn't have expected much, but yeah. Help D:
Her hair is too thick, her face is busted up and uneven, the glue in her head won't dry, and the accessories I painted don't match at all. She's starting to get on my nerves and I honestly just want to scrap her. I also think she's starting to mold??? What do I do? Is it worth it to start over, or should I keep going?
I just finished rerooting my first doll, but the only glue I have is this. Would this work? I gravitated towards this because it said it's waterproof, which helps with styling it. I also have elmers glue, but idk how well that will work either.
