Question about traveling to Australia with a piece of stone/rock

Hello lovely Australians. Bit of a different question this, but I have to ask.

My uncle immigrated to Australia back in the 60s. Sadly he couldn’t return to his home land before his death, and I never met him.

Im due to travel to Australia next year, and I want to visit his final resting place. The idea is to bring a bit of his childhood home with me, a stone from a wall ( house is soon to be demolished), and place it on his grave in an ornament. Sort of, he couldn’t go back home one last time, home came to him.

Now I have an idea that Australia has stringent laws about importing stuff like this, but I’d like to know if this is possible, or outright impossible to do. Of course I would sterilize the stone/rock before hand.

Any information or where to research/email is appreciated. Thank you.

Anyone struggle to get out of the house after work?

I don't know if this is an INFJ thing, but if I get into the house after work, I struggle to go out again. The house will feel so cozy and welcoming that it takes a real effort to go out in the evening.

Grandfather was a firefighter at RAF Luqa, Malta, between the 50's and the 90's. Found one of his documents, possibly in the '70s, displaying Aircraft Information Data they might have to work on.

Airfix Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb 1:72

AB262 was a short lived Spitfire that was stationed at RAF Ta Kali back in 1942 with 249 squadron. Now, a 1:72 replica will be present once again at the former aerodrome, as this is a gift to my father who owns a shop onsite. A small, personal satisfaction.

As with all Malta spitfires, I have seen several variants of its livery; I opted for the desert scheme. Probably it was painted some kind of watered down Mediterranean Blue on HMS Eagle for its long flight to Malta, but anyway, the subject is a particular one and I like my Malta Spits to be in the Desert scheme.

How important is spirituality to you?

As per title. Im 38 and recently have this yearning for discovering my spirituality and soul, but somehow I don't feel like going back to the Catholic church is what Im looking for.

2007 R56 89000kms - maintenance

Taking the car for her yearly service tomorrow, and I think its time to do some preventive maintenance. Never gave me any problems or big issues, but recently it threw the P111B code whilst driving in traffic; I suspect the thermostat sensor is gone.

What are some parts I should inspect/change, as everything is still from 20 years ago?

My second kit this year.

Technically, the title is incorrect. Its a Mk I that I bought as a test build to try my hand with Tamiya acrylics (always used lacquer).

It was a fun build. The acrylics mix to get the Malta/Desert livery was interesting, and was surprised at how beautiful it sprayed. While looking at the possible liveries, I noticed Z2827 had a black underside, and wanted to do that as I already have a P-40 with the blue underside and red spinner, so I went for it.

The build was very easy, really really good kit from Airfix. My only negative thing is that I f'ed up the canopy when I was priming it, as some overspray got in and sort of ruined it. It was the first time that I glued a canopy before spraying the plane, and first time using a pre-cut mask for the canopy. Also first time using an enamel panel liner.. nerving bit that!

Overall very happy with the results. Clearly a beginner compared to some of the builds here, but it marked a big improvement for me.
