What would you do?

Evening all 👋

So I sell the odd thing here and there on eBay but haven’t done so in a while so not sure what the rules are for this sort of thing now.

Had a buyer come in with a late bid and won one of my listings tonight. Immediately they message asking if they can pay in a week. I’m sure this happens a lot so didn’t think much of it and went back asking what date they plan to pay so I can extend the deadline if needed.

They want to pay on 31st (almost 2 weeks away).

What would you do in this situation? Ideally I’d rather not wait that long..

Something feels off lately...

Been using vinted for years and I can probably count on one hand the amount of issues I had in that time. Overall it's been a great experience, up until recently this is. There's a couple of things I'm noticing:

- When Inpost are unable to deliver to lockers, the parcels seem to get sent back to the depot and then never seen again. The tracking is useless from that point onwards. I thought they were supposed to attempt redelivery if the locker was full first time round?

- In the past week I've had a couple of sellers not even bother to send the items, including listings which they have accepted offers on so I know they are active. All of them were genuine and reviews were really positive stating quick delivery. Might just be bad luck or bad timing 😅

- More and more I'm finding that buyers don't bother with genuine feedback anymore so I get vinted's auto feedback or let the 2 days run since receiving the item so payment takes an age to come through. I know this one's not a big deal to most but I appreciate a bit of common courtesy when I'm quick to answer buyers questions or accept offers and let them know I'll post asap. Probably asking too much with this one 😂

The royal mail issue was not ideal but I've since changed all listings to medium sized to get around using them. Rant over 🙃

Advice for first time visit

Hi all 👋 will be spending a long weekend in Ambleside at the end of June for my birthday/anniversary with my partner and we are trying to put together an itinerary and any essentials we might need.

So far we’re looking to visit some lakes for kayaking (we have our own inflatable one), some waterfalls + caves, natural pools for a bit of swimming, as well as some decent hiking routes with great views.

Just looking for some helpful advice or recommendations on where best to visit during our stay. Thanks!

So my versa 3 finally gave up on me after taking a heavy knock during a football match. Considering it lasted around 3 years I’d say it’s had a good run. Now looking for a replacement/upgrade but with so much choice to choose from it’s a bit overwhelming.

I’m looking at something that’s more fitness tracker rather than smart watch, so a simplistic design that’s lightweight and subtle. The charge 6 was recommended based on searches but reviews seem mixed. Can anyone give an honest review or are there better options out there?

Main uses would be steps, HR, gps + sport tracking. Got a trip to the Lake District coming up next month so ideally looking to get a new one in time for that!

Appreciate any help 🙏
