I made a trailer for my brutalist backrooms environment kit

Hey! I wanted to share the trailer for an Unreal Engine environment kit I’ve been working on.

It’s called Brutalis Backrooms, a modular brutalist/backrooms-style kit focused on concrete spaces, industrial corridors, stairs, columns, humidity decals, and heavy-looking liminal environments.

I tried to keep it modular enough to build different layouts without everything feeling exactly the same.

Would love to hear what you think about the mood, lighting, and overall presentation.

Finished the base enemy system for my UE5 Metroidvania framework

I just finished the base enemy system for my Metroidvania System for Unreal Engine 5.

The idea is to keep it modular and easy to expand, so enemies are built from different behavior and movement bases.

Enemy behavior types:
• Non-attacking enemies
• Melee enemies
• Ranged enemies

Movement types:
• Walking
• Swimming
• Flying

The goal is to let developers combine these bases depending on the kind of enemy they need, without rebuilding the whole logic from scratch every time.

This enemy system will be part of the next update.

Also, for anyone interested, the current version of the framework is 50% off on Fab until June 20.
