for those that use public transport in cyprus, this app is extreamly helpful

app name: Urbaneel

I’m not affiliated but I found it and it shows you exactly where the busses are, it’s not the best for routes but it shows if the bus is actually coming or not and if it is going to be late

sharing because I always be getting ghosted by these bus drivers and I think this can help others that use public transport daily like me

I would use it along side PAME in nicosia

side note:
busonmap.com also exists, however I hate using it because it’s outdated and buggy, this app is better

Why do influencers pretend that nicosia doesn’t exist?

it’s always something like “limassol is where it’s at however it’s more expensive” “Paphos is if u just want to chill” “larnaca and Agia Napa exist”

but nicosia is usually not brought up, im not talking about the food bloggers more the people that are trying to convince people to come live in Cyprus.

from living in nicosia so far it definelty is relevant in contrast, so I just don’t get it

Looking for a Chinese spot that sells braised beef rice noodle soup in Nicosia

not able to find like an actual Chinese joint, like as in china town?

I’ve seen a few but they seem very white if that makes sense…

• Amber & Joe: 9.9/10 — Perfect everytime, biased because i just love the vibe there.
• UTU COFFEE: 9.8/10 —
• A Kxoffee Project: 9.5/10
• Red Sheep Coffee Co.: 9.1/10
• Kawacom’s: 8.7/10
• Urbano Coffee: 8.0/10
• Coffeehouse: 7.3/10
• Garçons: 7.2/10
• Coffee Berry: 6.5/10
• Nomad Coffee: 6.2/10
• Mikel Coffee Company: 6.0/10
• Bean Bar: 5.7/10
• The Block Coffee: 4.6/10
• Coffee Island: 4.2/10
• Ariston Bakery: 1/10
• Second Cup: 0/10
• Serious Black Coffee: (need to try again)
based on flat white, freddo espresso, iced latte

i am in no way or form an expert on coffee, but have been to atleast 100 shops in Abu Dhabi & Dubai before moving, just recently I have bought a K6 Grinder & a machine for home, I’m sure experts will have a different opinion than me.
(18, male student in UNIC)

This is all based on my opinion, it is also rated based on the coffee and the vibe of the spot, but if a spot had a good vibe, but bad coffee it was rated low regardless

top 5 all have clear differences, all are good in their own ways.

I do not care about major coffee chains, the coffee they server is mostly sub par, more expensive and they should be avoided in my opinion.

(Costa, Starbucks, Gloria jeans) especially.

I think Caffè Nero is overpriced with mediocre coffee but their locations are good for studying i guess.

on my list, will check out soon:
ecru.
the daily roast
kollaberative roaster (I believe tho they get the beans from a kxoffee project)
Cranky.
Brew Lab
Green Colibiri

feel free to suggest.

I swear these bus drivers don’t stop way too often and just go past, especially when they are late what is up bro like you can’t be doing that
