I am curious to how high the pay bands go? Since being here I have not received an RSU refreshers either.
Is this within normal range? I have 7 years of experience post college.
FedEx driver is known to never deliver packages to the door. This one he threw in front of the garage…which was found 3 days later in the rain. It was a a surprise gift from a friend so we weren’t even expecting a package to have been able to know it was there….
Cannot believe it’s actually useful!
I thought the contractor would add a gap between these cabinets so they could open with more space. I’m just trying to check if this is normal? There is space when the door is closed but feels like the edge of the door is hitting the other cabinet.
These heat waves are insane, but I am so thankful Tesla has the Cabin Overheat Protection!
Everytime I get in the car expecting to get hit with a heat of air; to my surprise it’s always cool.
Yes it eats up battery but I’m never using the full 80% in one day regardless!
My tire became flat due to a nail. The tire could not inflate without losing so much air so I couldn’t drive to my local shop.
Decided to use Tesla Roadside. They took my tire and then gave me a loaner tire.
The service center is saying that they won’t fix my tire UNTIL I COME FOR AN APPOINTMENT next week?!
It’s a simple nail that needed a patch. If it wasn’t for the fact it couldn’t hold air I would’ve driven it to my tire shop.
Is this normal?!
Had a huge object stuck in my tire. I should have left it and just drive slowly to a tire center down the street but ended up taking it out since it was causing actual bumps in my drive.
The hole was just big enough to not allow me to fill it with air to drive after taking it out. Decided to use Tesla Roadside which gave me a loaner tire for me to still use my car.
They took the tire back to the service center and I’m assuming it’s not going to be cheap to patch from other posts saying over $100.
Any recommendations on anything else I could do to not have to pay the $100+ for the latch?
I was just in a situation where I couldn’t drive the car anywhere to fix the patch and it was in a location where I couldn’t put an at home patch either.
Was driving on Burke Center Parkway near the construction when I felt a giant BUMP. All of a sudden car started bouncing.
This massive thing caused a huge hole in the tire. Hope potentially may be too large to just patch.
Is there any way to have this paid for by VDOT since this isn’t some ordinary nail?
How has your experience been with adult day cares in NOVA?
Is there a big demand for it to have enough business available for it? And for those who have used one, how’s your experience been?
Hi all, my friend owns a house in Elmira that has rented to students for several years. Its a 2 minute walk to campus in a safe area. Always lived in by students. If anyone is interested, please feel free to reach out!
First off - thank you for leaving any and all advice.
I have been an SE now for 2 years and I really enjoy my job. I have a total of 7 years of experience, the first 5 were in consulting.
I got out of consulting because I realized that I needed to be where technology was, but still wanted a people aspect. That is why I love being an SE since it gives me the best of both worlds.
I have done well as an SE and my manager really likes me. There is a first level Manager position that opened up internally and my manager recommended that I apply to it. He thinks that he sees in my a great manager in the future, since I care a lot about people and culture dynamics.
HERE IS MY THING: I feel like I am too early to be a manager and don't think I want to be a Manager just yet. But should I still interview for the position? There are many others more experienced interviewing, but let's say I get the role. Do those who are managers of SE's think that it was a good growht? My struggle is to climb the ranks as a Manager, Senior M, etc vs just being a really well versed SE in a world where AI is growing fast
