Manufacturing defect on the A16? Some sort of blemish on the Zenbook logo that started faint and has been getting darker each week.

Bought it through Best Buy so I guess I'll have to deal with them as opposed to ASUS.

Solutions for traveling without Resolve's USB dongle - can it be converted into a license key?

I am traveling and want to keep my on the go setup as simple as possible. I bought my Ursa Mini on eBay about 8 years ago and it came with the Resolve Studio dongle. I want to be able to either turn this dongle into an actual digital activation code or perhaps "stream" the dongle to my laptop while it's connected to my main workstation at home. Any ideas?

Because I love data (and because a lot of people overestimate this), this is the moving and stopped time the E line spends from Pico to Expo/Crenshaw including dwell times: 5 minutes and 35 seconds.

Are there any pens that work with the Zenbook A16?

I saw a YouTube review of the laptop where they use a stylus for a couple of seconds, but no mention of brands. I'm looking for suggestions that would work on this laptop. I'd love to use it for photo editing.

Are there any pens that work on the Zenbook A16 touchscreen?

I know there is an official ASUS pen but I don't like it. I'm looking for suggestions that would work on this laptop.

Want to exchange laptop because of coil whine but lost the charger

I stupidly lost the charger that came with the shipping box. I only have the main box that included the laptop and marketing materials. Am I screwed? I'm still on the return window.

So how was ridership on the D line extension today (Tuesday) during commuting hours?

Curious to know how full the trains are. My prediction is that initial numbers for the D line extension won't be great and we'll be disappointed. However, we'll see a significant spike once Beverly Dr and Century City open - not to mention Westwood. That's my theory at least, after taking a walk near the new stations and noticing the severe lack of pedestrian activity and businesses with the exception of Wilshire/La Brea.

"Brooklyn-style" buildings in SF

I was looking at the StreetView outside of the Transamerica Pyramid and noticed this block. I can't put a name on the architectural style (I'm sure there is an official one), but it reminds me of the townhouses in neighborhoods like Carroll Gardens or Brooklyn Heights. It makes me wonder if there are other places in the city that have a good amount of these next to each other. Does anyone know?

I was on T-Mobile and had an option to stick to 4G/LTE on the phone's settings. I changed to Visible, which uses the Verizon network and the option is gone. When I'm in my apartment, the signal bars change almost every second and it constantly switches between 5G-UW to 4G, which significantly affects my screen on time.

Is there no way to change this? Maybe an app?

You have half of reviewers saying the Ceraluminum material looks cheap and the beige looks outdated and then another half saying how premium it feels to the touch and how sleek and unique the color is. I've had the laptop for a week now and I'm on the latter camp. I can't stop touching the chassis lol. I do see how the beige can be considered retro and I honestly love that. So tired of gray and black laptops.

My partner and I were watching a true crime show which explores the disappearance of a Minnesota man who, while drunk, took a wrong turn and his car broke down at a rural road off of a highway. I said to my partner "car dependence killed him."

I don't think I'm the only one thinking how annoying this is. I've been looking at the Zenbook A16 reviews and there is such a focus on gaming even though it's clear THIS IS NOT A GAMING DEVICE. By the marketing materials and wording, you can tell this is aimed at on-the-go creators and power users who prioritize style over big bulky devices and, at best, might do some super light gaming on the side.

Serious and even casual gamers will be getting a Zephyrus or something like that. The most frustrating part was reading Tom's Guide (or Hardware?) review about how the A16 isn't ready to seriously compete with MacBook because it can't run as many games. Are you f*cking serious?! As if people buying a MacBook Pro 16 are doing it to game instead of, I don't know, video editing and graphic design...

I'm so over it.

Pretty much the opposite of what's happening in West Hollywood, Westwood and Third Street Promenade. I know it's a citywide issue, but wondering if there are neighborhoods that are immune to it?
