No tornado reports yet but 90+ mph winds
There are a few damage reports coming out of roofs lost and trees down. I've seen quite a few reports of 80-90 mph winds as well.

97 mph wind gusts
Update: 111 mph in South Dakota now!
Damaging winds were reported all across the state.
97 mph was recorded in Kane Illinois. 105 other reports were made in Illinois so far and at least one tornado has been reported.

So far we've had over 450 wind reports with a max speed of 97 mph recorded in Illinois.
4 inch hail in South Dakota.
3 confirmed EF3s in Iowa and another 1 reported in Illinois so far.

How do I even start marketing?
I've got a relatively small niche (storm reports & confirmed damage alerts). The biggest market is disaster relief, emergency management, and kind of insurance claims/storm restoration companies.
I've contacted a lot of my friends in disaster relief without much luck.
Overall the metrics/conversions and stuff are pretty good but I can't get exposure. I'm trying to share on Facebook/X/Reddit and it's just seems like complete luck if a reddit post takes off. Other than that I'm not getting much traction.
I'm in a better spot than most I guess though about 1000 downloads and a few paying strangers.
I keep sinking serious hours into it with so little payback. It's so much easier to just go back and add more features to the app than try and market better or more.

Here's the info for tonight's weather so far. Iowa got a pretty good gust of wind recorded at 87 mph. Michigan has some hail (2.75 in).

TX tornado downtown San Antonio
Texas just had a tornado in San Antonio. So far the NWS has no other wind or hail reports for the morning. It's fairly uncommon for just a tornado to be reported.
