Has anyone else got Dr. No as his favourite James Bond novel?

Has anyone else got Dr. No as his favourite James Bond novel?

Dr. No and Honey Ryder have got to be my favourite my favourite villain and girl from the novels, and the dinner, the obstacle course, and the battle against the squid are some of my favourite chapters from the entire novel series.

At first, he didn't agree with Connery's portrayle of the character, but was covinced after his wife told him that Sean was very sexy. Eventually, he came to adore Connery's version so much that he nationalised Bond as Scottish. But if Brosnan was to take the audition, do you think Fleming would be impressed?

My money is either on the ending of The Cheever Letters episode, when Elaine revealed that she knew all about Jerry's little underwear remark, or on the ending of The Marine Biologist episode, when Goerge revealed yo the group that it was Kramer's golf ball that caused the whale to almost drown. Both were hysterically hilarious. Especially the later. "A hole in one."

I'd also throw into the mix as a very honourable mention: the moment from the puffy shirt. When that hand-model guy told George about the tragic story of McKigney. How he wasn't the master of his domain. And then Goerge told him there's nothing to worry about. He "won a contest." The recorded audience went nuts.

What do you think?

The "his job" line from the pre-title sequence, and her happy and proud expression at the ending when she hears that Carver went down with his ship, and Bond made it. Judi's performance and delivery, with David's phenomenal score captivate my attention to the screen every single time.

I was able to narrow it down into two candidates:

  1. Bond is about to be executed and then escapes on a hovercraft (Die Another Day)

  2. Bond's having a drink with Paloma, grabbing a gun, sliding over the bar and starts mowing bad guys (No Time to Die)

I was able to summ it up to three moments:

Eathan passing the Vatican's wall and changes into disguise. (III)

Ethan, Brandt, Benji and Luther trapping Lane ina glass box (Rough Nation)

Ethan mannages hold onto the second biplane. (The Final Reckoning)
