Theres this redditer who clearly knows I’m a minor and they’re over the age of 25 trying to dm me inappropriately constantly and has made two new accounts just to dm me.

Is there any way someone can help? I don’t have discord so I can’t even contact the Reddit mods personally, and I’m even thinking about going by a new name entirely for both Reddit and AO3.

I was just wondering if there was a megathread somewhere that isn’t archived? I really want more people to go from my Reddit to my AO3 acc but 1) I’m not sure if I’m being selfish or if I’ll be perceived as attention-seeking 2) I want to know theres more people in my fandoms but I’m unsure of how to do that and 3) I also have an Original work (right now at least) that I want more people to know about.

Is there any subreddit or mega thread that I could use in this day and age?

The title may or may not be self explanatory, but I’ve seen people use “LABOUR” by Paris Paloma for school or things that have nothing to do with the song. it’s entirely inappropriate, and completely dilutes the meaning of the song.

As for “I’m Just A Girl”, women will use this for videos saying “Oops! Silly me, I’m just a girl after all🎀” NO. JUST NO.

“I’m Just A Girl” is supposed to be for feminism AGAIN. If anyone listens— ACTUALLY listens— to the lyrics, they consist of “I’m just a girl, I’m just a girl in the world,” then,

”That’s all that you’ll let me be.”

Because people— yes, even women— will make women seem smaller by saying that they’re just girls. EX: “You’re just a girl, what can you do?”

So no, you shouldn’t use “LABOUR” for school vents, nor should you use “I’m Just A Girl” because you made a silly mistake.

Listen to the lyrics and maybe you’ll understand the feelings of women who face so much backlash for simply being women.

Maybe people will get it, maybe people won’t.

So I want to audition for Regina George in the fall, and really want to nail her song “World Burn” the problem is that the end of the song when she says mean three times my voice tends to crack.

I’ve tried everything to make sure I’m not straining and actually doing what I need but nothings working. I’ve done warm ups, stayed away from dairy, drank warm tea, etc. but my voice still cracks.

Does anyone have experience with playing Regina George? if so, how’d you nail her high notes and what song did you use for your audition?

Hey again! I’m unsure if this is a vent post or if I need help so I’m just putting this under question.

So I’m a middle, as the title states, and during this USA type game, my setter and I kept bumping into each other.

My setter normally stays on the right, but when setting she’ll run into me. I don’t know if it’s my fault for staying in my position or if she just needs to run after setting.

For more details, she jogs after setting the ball, or she’s already running, sets, then continues running. I’ve tried to jog backwards but I think I do it too late cause we end up colliding still.

My other setter is a little better, but I signaled once that I was going to be on the net, but once the setter had gotten the ball to our hitter, immediately rammed into me.

I feel so bad because I already feel so out of place, and I think it was getting to my head because we had captains pick teams and guess who last to be picked?

I was doing so well too, I don’t know what was happening. I feel so frustrated with myself for being so clueless and clumsy, it makes me feel like I’m not cut out for this sport.

My setter told me to grab the cart to roll to our coach, but our coach was telling someone else to roll the cart over. Not to mention that everyone keeps saying one thing then expecting me to do another. Its getting really hard for me to keep my cool.

Anyways, that’s the end of my rant, I’m thinking of quitting after the summer cause I’m not sure if it’s still a good sport anymore.

Hi! I’ve busked twice so far and I would love some help.

I need to find a speaker that works well with guitar and a microphone, as well as some kind of Bluetooth. I would say somewhere between 200-400 USD.

I normally just use Sing King because I’m a newbie guitarist, but I would love to play some original pieces to express myself.

I’ve noticed a lot that people love it when I sing Meghan Trainor and Jackson 5, so are there any songs or artists like that? And what other popular songs should I do?

Hi! I’m a singer and songwriter. I don’t have a budget to go to a professional studio, so I have to use a laptop.

I’ve been trying to record my guitar on a regular mic (I know, not the best) and I’m just wondering if you guys have any methods you used when you didn’t have a DAW or a cord to plug in your guitar to your laptop? Another question of mine is if I could get a DAW, which one is good quality for its price?

I’ve got $650 going straight towards music so if there’s anything else I should probably get can you comment?

Hey everyone! it’s my first time posting here and my gosh do I need help.😅

I started doing a drop-in at this volleyball club, and I can’t seem to shake off the nerves that make me mess up big time. For example, we were doing practice hit receives I think (I don’t know all the terminology I’m so sorry) and the ball went over my head. I freaked and covered my head with my hands.

I COVERED MY HEAD WITH MY HANDS.

I looked to the person next to me. They look at me. We’re both flabbergasted at what I just did. I had never done that during practice or games before, I was so embarrassed and made me slip up even more. I was moved from Middle to opposite, and three times I went in front of my setter instead of behind. One, fml. Two, I really hate being stuck in a loop of mistake, apologizing, and calling myself things created of pure self-hatred.

This is a big problem, because I’m at the same level once I shake off or forget what I was nervous about. I just don’t know how to snap out of it when I really need to.

I love volleyball so much and I dont want to bring others down cause of my mistakes. I always feel bad and it’s even worse because I’m apart of the new kids at the club and I bet I look like someone who doesn’t take volleyball seriously.
