How long have I owned these birks?
No hints. Just look at the footbed and give me a number in the comments.
Answer: >!April 2026. Three months. Is this wear normal?.!<
This is a fake account, correct? I can't imagine they would be posting AI slop.
Bought my first Olukais
Do these look like they fit well? Any tips on breaking them in? The strap is wearing into the top of my foot.

New to Casio, and Just Bought my First F91W! Help me with mods.
This month I decided to pick up a new hobby. That hobby is watch collecting. My first brand that I am really excited about is Casio. I have seen where people break into the brand with Casio F91W. I have heard that it is the most purchased watch on the planet and people love to modify them. I saw where Andrew Machiavelli of the Waveform podcast has started modding his to include a step tracker and more. What are some modification that you recommend? How difficult are they to modify? Are there any cool creators/modders that you would recommend following? Any help or guidance is appreciated!
Bought a $45 Carpe deodorant pack... turns out it was a secret subscription. Now charged $225. Anyone else?
Trying to figure out how many people this has happened to, because I've now been through the checkout twice and I can't find anywhere that this was disclosed as a subscription.
What I bought: a discounted $45 pack. Four sticks of deodorant plus some "free" extras. One-time purchase, as far as I could tell. Nothing in the checkout said recurring. Nothing said subscription.
I went back through the entire purchase flow a second time just to check myself. Still nothing. If the disclosure is in there, it's buried past the point where any normal person would ever see it.
Then the charges started:
- $45 for the pack
- $90 (attempted to cancel)
- $90 again...
$225 total for what I believed was a one-time $45 purchase.
And canceling is its own fight. The cancellation flow is five separate pages. That's not an accident. That's designed to wear you down before you finish.
Questions for anyone who's dealt with this:
- Did you know it was a subscription when you bought the discounted pack, or did you find out when the charge hit?
- Did a chargeback work?
- Did anyone get a refund directly from Carpe?
If the missing disclosure is as common as it looks, it's worth documenting how many of us there are. Drop your experience below. Let me know. I may reach out to you direct about interest in a class action suit because their practices are clearly not FTC compliant.
