Why Is My Brine Tank Holding So Much Water?

Recently installed Genesis 2 system. Followed instructions to add 5 gallons of water plus salt. Allowed it to sit for 6 hours before initiating first Regen.

This is how it looks now - I’m assuming this is too much water… when the Regen was taking place I did see water being sucked out of the tube toward the control head.

Not sure what I should be checking and panicking a little as I’m going out of town tomorrow for several weeks.

Rate My First Pitch, Please

From the videos it seems like two of the most important things include staking the outer piece square and lowering poles to tighten opposing corners based on sag if it occurs, before raising again.

The outer zipper in picture one was harder to close than the other side. I wouldn’t say a heavy sag on the outer but it also didn’t seem as tight as it could be. The inner mesh was definitely not as tight as I’d like it, seemed to sag close to where the outer zippers are/ close to where my head rests

Should the focus in this case be on checking square, reposition poles and corner pulls, or something else?

PS - as I was napping someone walked by and said „there’s a Durston“ to their buddy, and it made me smile. Photos from Little Yosemite Valley.

Questions Regarding Valley Arrival, Stay & Permit Acquiring for July 5th Wilderness Permit Backpacking

I have wilderness permits for July 5th - 8th for Happy Isles → Little Yosemite Valley and want to stay the night before (from my understanding is allowed for permit holders, including one night after should I choose) in the backpacking campground to get an early start on the 5th.

From the Bay Area my general plan includes:

- (July 4th) Arrive at the gates/entrance around 10am - be in the valley by 12-1pm pending gate / park traffic.

- Pick up wilderness permits via YV Welcome Center and verify backpackers campground location / pay fees via app for site (2 backpackers total).

- Relax and enjoy the Valley before getting to bed early.

- (July 5th) Relocate car to wherever it needs to be.

- Begin hike.

A few things I'm uncertain about that I'm hoping some experienced people can answer:

- Do I need to get into the valley and claim a camping spot ASAP on July 4th - i.e. am I guaranteed a camping location in the backpackers campground or is it possible that it fills up and I'm not allowed a spot?

- Is Yosemite Valley's permit station open (recreation.gov states each permit station is seasonal)

- Where am I expected to park during the four days I'm backpacking?

- Any recommended camping areas beyond LYV (further up the Merced River) after the first night?

- Anything else to keep in mind (both for the holiday weekend and this particular route/permit in general).

Is a Single 15 or 20 Amp Circuit Enough For These Three Fridge/Freezers?

Old garage fridge and two chest freezers. How many can I dedicate to a single circuit at 15 or 20 amps not powering anything else?

I‘m planning to research how to trim this tree but want to know what kind it is first.

Open to recommendations on trimming/pruning.

Sorry for the ugly editing but people on Reddit have been creeps and I’m active in my local subs so tryin to keep private.
