We finally reached 100 members the Art Space!!!

And to celebrate that we, the staff, came up with a special prompt for this weeks Homework.

It's a character design prompt where you spin the wheel to get 4 elements you have to use to build your character. We just announced it in the server and have been hearing great discussions and ideas immerging.

We hope we can plan more such prompts for the weekly homework in the future as well.

So I'm colouring in this drawing i made of Tim and Jason and i want their hair to have a subtle tint of the colour they are associated with.

I know that Jason is red but what is Tim's colour

Like Grayson is blue

Jason is red

Bruce and Cass are black and yellow(and grey for Bruce)

Steph is purple

Babs is purple and line green

Duke is yellow

Hi everyone.

We are currently deciding between the song of Achilles, the Sun Eater Series or Russian literature( well discuss what book later if this gets chosen) and if we want our first meeting to be at the end of July or August.

It would be really nice to get more people who would like to be active in conversations and discussions.

Some things that we have are

• A forum for books that are being read or have been read by the members
• A place for fan fiction

• and a separate place for book recs

Are you looking for a place where you can discuss books with like minded people? Where fanfictions are validated as book( because what do you mean some of them are like 200k words)? Or do you want to share you own fics?

Then this is the place for you! We are looking for people who want to participate in discussions whether it is VC or Texting. And who would like to connect with people and share their perspectives and opinions on books they might be reading.

What do we have?

• A forum for books that have been read, are currently being read, or were DNFed so people can discuss them in a particular place.
• A place for you to share articles that interest you
• Separate forums for fanfics read by the people in the server and written by the people in the server
• A separate channel for book recommendation

What are we willing to add or do?

• we can organise game nights if people want that to happen
• Add a channel for fanart of many people want that
• other suggestions are welcome and more things can be added when we get more people

We are currently trying to decide what we want our first read to be, but because of low participation amongst the members we have not been able to decide anything. Most people have been joining to look for recommendation, but you can only get some if you put some out there yourself, if you know what I mean. Finding new books was the secondary motive of the Server the main one being rekindling our love for reading though passionate discussions about what is being read.

So I hope we are able to find people with the same mindset.

Okay so for a while i have been wanting to join a book club. I have been on a lookout for things in my local library and even here on reddit but none of the discord ones are active, if they are there is nothing much about books or even reading in general that people are participating in.

So i though maybe i can make one of my own and add things that i wanna see in a book club, but that idea is kinda flawed since my idea of an ideal book club might not match so many other peoples ideal book club. So here i am asking the reddit community what you want.

I am not gonna start actually working on it till the 18th this month because..... exam. But i would really like to here all the ideas and expectations.

Here's a list of things that i though were good so i added them when i impulsively decided to "just make one I don't have to add people to it or even tell anyone yet and making it might just make me not wanna do it anymore" even though i have 2 final summative to prepare for and exams in less than 2 weeks

1. List of books people are reading or have read as a form, so people can add if they read the book, if they are currently reading it, or DNFed it or if there are spoilers in it or if spoilers are welcomed( I know this is by no means a perfect way to display all the books that are currently being read especially in the future if someone else starts reading it too)
2. A place for fanfics( some are as long as novels they deserve to be validated as such)
3. A place were people can vote for what book they want for us to discuss in that months meeting
4. A place for fanart for the fandoms
5. A separate place for the fanfics that were written by people in the server
6. a place for people to share what they have written (a forum and a channel i cant decide what's better for this)
