So this is my school districts second year of letting kids bring their own computers to school, and id say about half of the kids bring their own computer and dont use the school Chromebooks. I'm going to be a freshman this year and I want to bring my macbook as i really dont want to use the school Chromebook (for several reasons I'll get to in a minute) for context my laptop is the base model macbook pro. As for the reasons why I dont want to use a school Chromebook, I'm going to be in a video class, and if I bring my macbook i can use my preferred software and work on projects at home, also organization with my personal and school accounts, as well as a few more reasons. I have like a protective sleeve that I keep the computer in but im still unsure of whether or not I should bring it to school. I'm not concerned about dropping it or anything, but im worried that kids will be kids and something bad could happen. Since im gonna be a freshman I'm not sure how things are around people's stuff in highschool, in middle school it definitely wasnt the best, so im wondering if highschool is safer in that regard. So basically im from israel but I've lived in america since I was 4 and im going to be a freshman this year. So far in middle school no one gaf about politics, so other than a few times where people asked if I loved big yahu and asking me if I liked genocide, I haven't experienced much harrasment. (Also YES it is xenophobia even if my country does bad stuff) but im worried that in highschool since they'll be older people who actually are involved and keep track of the world and politics there might be some people who idk might harass me because im israeli. Do you guys think think this is a valid concern or am I just worrying about things?

My goal is 8 hours to go to every end of the orange, red, green, and blue line. Any advice?

Hi everyone, I'm a fourteen year old vide editor and I've been editing for 3ish years by now, and a few months ago I decided to try and start doing paid work. I watched a bunch of videos on YouTube about how to find clients, but none of the techniques worked. The techniques were mainly just finding youtubers then editing portions of their videos and dming/emailing them that to ask to edit for them. So does anyone know if there's any other ways to find clients? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I wanted to share and hear what people in the LGBTQ community think about a question/thought thats been nagging me for a while. When someone feels out of place in their gender, (I think the term is gender dysmorphia) isn't that because of gender roles? So instead of normalizing changing your gender to fit into your preferred gender roles, shouldn't we be denormalizing gender roles? I feel like that would be a lot healthier and more logical, as people would be comfortable with how they were born? I'd be interested to hear what you all think of this! Ok bye :)
