The LTE backup connection is noticeably slower than the Greenpacket D2F. This is another disappointment, considering how the Always On feature was advertised and offered.
Although IPv6 is enabled in the ISP router admin portal, my PC consistently shows “No IPv6 address detected.” This occurs even after verifying that IPv6 is properly enabled in both the router settings and my device’s network configuration.
I have attached screenshots of the IPv6 settings from the router admin page for your reference.

I'm hoping the Prolink setup will be much more stable than the previous Greenpacket D2F.
So far, I'm happy with the upgrade and hoping I won't have to deal with the same issues again. Fingers crossed! 🤞

If PLDT can bundle reliable fiber internet with solar power at a reasonable monthly cost, it could help households reduce electricity expenses while ensuring internet connectivity during power interruptions. The key factors will be affordability, equipment quality, battery backup capacity, and after-sales support. It'll be interesting to see how they price the package and whether it offers real savings compared to getting internet and solar separately.

Sa aking Opinion as Landlord: Ang pagiging landlord ay hindi lang tungkol sa kumita ng pera, kundi tungkol din sa pagiging makatao at patas sa mga nangungupahan. Hindi sana gawing pangunahing source of income ang tenant na parang walang konsiderasyon sa kalagayan nila. Tandaan natin na pare-pareho lang tayong naghahanapbuhay at kumakain araw-araw.
Kung mabuting tenant naman: laging nagbabayad sa oras, maayos sa bahay, at walang problema sana hindi agad iniisip ang pagtataas ng renta. Mas maganda kung may konting reward o consideration bilang pasasalamat sa pagiging responsableng umuupa. Kahit simpleng hindi muna pagtaas ng renta, maliit na discount, o maayos na pakikitungo, malaking bagay na iyon.
Sa ganitong paraan, nakakatulong din ang landlord na makapag-ipon ang tenant para balang araw ay magkaroon din sila ng sariling bahay. Kapag may malasakit at respeto sa isa’t isa, mas nagiging maganda at pangmatagalan ang samahan ng landlord at tenant.
Sobrang sisi ko na nag-avail ako nitong free Always-On promo ng PLDT. Simula kasi nung pinalitan yung modem ko, sunod-sunod na ang problema—laging may problima from LOS, Intermittent, tapos ngayun nagbli-blinking ang PON nang walang LTE signal. Humiling na ako na ibalik yung lumang Huawei modem ko at ipa-cancel ang contract, kaso hindi raw pwede mawaive ang contract kahit mapalitan ng Huawei modem. Grabing free offer to na wala sa hulog 😭
Kaya lesson learned ko hindi pala always maganda ang free offer kay PLDT. 😭
Worth it pala ung LTE bundle ng Always on modem sa area namin lakas makagood vibes ni PLDT. Kaya recommended ko sya kahit papaano hind na ako nagdidata! Superb ung Always On sa end ko. Pero ganun pa man mas mainam padin ung Fiber 😂
