I was about to like a track and leave a comment (which I rarely do)

I was also going to message the artist asking if they wanted to collab, as I loved his voice, the track had no likes or comments yet so I was going to jump on and support the guy. I was thinking once again "damn I love SoundCloud and the random tracks it suggests"...

But sadly, it appears to be an AI account. I can't believe the amount of tracks (>150) that have been uploaded under that account alone in about 2 months time since its creation.. I am agitated that I keep getting shown AI content on SoundCloud, it's not what I'm here for.

I have been uploading to and listening on the platform since 2013, and I LOVE it. I fucking love SoundCloud. I don't use anything else.. But my faith in the platform is starting to dwindle. I do NOT support AI music, I do NOT want to listen to AI music.

I am in FIRM belief that AI music is going to slowly kill the music industry, especially by drowning out artists who are starting out. I think it is a scam, and unfair to real artists.

I think at a bare minimum (if they don't prohibit the upload of AI generated music/accounts) that we should at least get an option in the settings where we get to choose whether we are shown it or not, and I think, to be fair to those of us who spend days, weeks or months making a track, the setting should be OFF by default.

What can we, collectively as THE users of the platform, do about it?

Any ZF10s up for grabs?

I refuse to part with mine, but I know the day will come where it no longer works/something breaks and I dread that day.

So my question is, has anyone upgraded and happens to have an old/spare/unused ZF10 lying around?

Suede Classic XXI

~10 years ago I bought a pair of Suede Classic XXI's in purple, but unlike ANY photo I can find online, mine had the "flick" in the same purple suede as the rest of the shoe. I can only find images where the flick is in white (or a different colour).. Mine came with the standard purple laces fitted, but the fat white laces were included in the box and I fitted those myself.

This is the only photo I can find of mine (dated 9/11/2016). I last remember seeing them about 2-3 years ago, I remember the suede was buggered and the white soles had gone yellow by that point but they were still cool, no idea where they've gone but I'm dying to get my hands on another pair.

Can anyone find a photo of these shoes in purple with the same coloured "flick"? It wasn't a darker or lighter purple either, it appeared to be cut from the same piece of suede, I never saw another pair like it before or after. I'm starting to go crazy thinking I might have had a one-off set made by mistake/error.

Hero13 Black - help with settings

I bought this GoPro today, I was going to get the Lit Hero but was advised against it for continuous recording (and other reasons). I liked the idea of a larger sensor and replaceable batteries, so the Hero13 Black is what I bought instead. I film automotive videos in my workshop, I got this camera primarily to be head-mounted to record POV stuff.

I've upgraded (finally) from my Hero Session, and I haven't played around with the 13's settings much AT ALL. I primarily record/upload in 1080p (50/60fps) due to being lazy on the editing/uploading side of things and avoiding loading up my PC with TBs of footage I take months to edit/process.

Upon the first time using it, I noticed it records ample quality in good lighting conditions, however it seems to really struggle in low-light conditions. I've taken two screenshots to show the difference, in the darker screenshot for example, I can see everything behind the brake rotor perfectly fine without the need for a flashlight, but the Hero13 can't..

Considering I often go from being under a car, to the workbench, to the wheel well, to outside the car, etc - what do you guys recommend I do settings wise?

Can I improve its low-light performance without sacrificing it's quality when I come back into well-lit areas?

Any help much appreciated!

Stenhoj Maestro 2.32 (asymmetric loading)

I've had this hoist installed in my workshop for the last 3 years, and when I was working as a full time mechanic we had two of the exact same hoists, and I used those for about 4 years (10 years ago).

Mine is exactly as pictured, with the stubby front and long rear arms, ratcheting extensions on both front and rear, and the posts are on a 45° angle relative to the line of the base plate. It was also installed with chemset anchors as a precaution as the thickness of my slab was "borderline" for a standard anchor.

Due to the asymmetric design, I find myself always standing back looking at the vehicle side on trying to calculate in my brain where the vehicle should actually be positioned.

**I've heard multiple things over the years in regards to loading them/positioning the vehicle:**

*1. Top of A-pillar lines up with post centre*

*2. Half way between arms = vehicle CG*

*3. 45° line intersect from post centre = vehicle CG*

*4. So that the door can open at 45° angle*

*5. As far back as possible*

*6. So the top of post doesn't move fore or aft during lift*

I have never had a vehicle come off a hoist nor have any serious reason for asking, it's more a curiosity thing. Sometimes with longer and/or heavy vehicles I do get slightly anxious when I notice excess rocking back and forth while I'm working under them, that's about it.

**So, to those of you who know these Stenhoj hoists like the back of your hand, how do you typically load them, and why?**

(P.S: I rarely lift vehicles over 2000kg, typical range of 1100-1600kg. I am a private garage doing performance, service, and mechanical restorations on JDM and classic European vehicles)

Projects using .MTS files have no audio - they used to.

I haven't opened resolve in a while, but i know the projects i was working on previously had no issues with audio whatsoever. Now, everything is silent, and instead of displaying a waveform the audio bar is empty.

I have done some research and found the response to such issue "resolve does not work well with .MTS files and AC3 audio codecs, transcode the format or record in a supported format", which is all fine and dandy, however, do believe me when i say these projects of mine 100% used to have audio with no issues.

I do use this computer mainly for music production, so i'm not sure if i used to have something additional installed that just so happened to allow resolve to hear the .MTS files naturally and hence i never noticed the issue - however, they definitely have no audio now.

I even updated to check if that fixed the issue, but no.

What could have changed, and why all of a sudden am i having this issue?

P.S: How do i get rid of the extra playback screen which wasn't there before? (i put a red star there)

Hybrid GoPro/headlamp?

I film myself working on cars, and need to replace my OG Hero Session as I ran it off a powerbank for too long and it cooked itself.

I often wear a head torch/headlamp when working in confined spaces (wheel wells, engine bay, under the car etc) - but it was always one or the other, trying to wear the GoPro on my forehead and the headlamp on my forehead wasn't very practical let alone comfortable.

What would be handy is if i can get ahold of a headlamp with a camera built in, or if anyone knows any other way to achieve this in a way that both works well and doesn't look stupid (as I concurrently film myself with a camera on a tripod, so I don't want too many things strapped to myself).

I'm not worried if it is a genuine GoPro item, as long as it can record high quality 1080p60..

At the beginning of Tokyo Drift by Booter Bee, there is a tag that sounds like "Hey KC, lock me in".

Who is it and what does the tag actually say?

Looking for anyone willing to part with their Asus ZenFone 10 after it's been blocked by the networks after the 2G/3G shutdown. I'm sure there are a few who have already upgraded, and as I love this phone (and mine is now starting to give me battery issues), I hate to think that some will simply throw theirs away.

I'd buy a new replacement, but they aren't making them anymore.

I am a part time sound tech/audio engineer/enclosure designer/AV tech/stage tech and definitely a full time audiophile, so I require an AUX/headphone jack, hence the request. Even after they've been blocked, this phone is still good for me thanks to it's small size, decent camera, good processor, and of course, the AUX paired with it's 24bit/192khz DAC.

Thanks in advance.

(Mods please don't remove this)
