Lovely message from a vegan 🥰 Warning: extreme & vulgar language

Over a year ago, I left a comment on a YouTube video of Marco Pierre White, who was discussing the importance of respecting the animals you eat. As a sheep and cattle rancher myself, I chimed in with my own personal experience and how you can respectfully treat and raise animals for food.

This morning I received the most unhinged message from an assumed vegan. Not only did they respond to a message that was well over a year old, but they managed to find my business email address which is not tied to my YouTube account. They also combed through my comments to discover my father had just passed.

So wonderfully ironic that they refer to me as a sociopath yet are blissfully unaware, or worse, feel completely justified in their own sociopathic behavior.

Makes me sad for them as they must truly be mentally disturbed. Hope they are able to get the help they need.

Cooked for Princess Myrna

She was displeased at the delay 🤣. But she stayed nearby to ensure all was up to standard.

Note: I serve Myrna a 50/50 mix of homemade and high quality, select ingredient kibble. I have discussed the recipe for the homemade portion with her vet and have their approval.

Finally able to snag all 4 Fortnite Turtles

I actually live in South America but my family is from the States. My mom was able to pick them up for me today in St. Louis after I found them available for pick up.

Best mom ever. And I can’t wait to get to pose these myself. The articulation looks amazing!

Advice for new Bulldog owners?

Hello all!

As we strive to make r/bulldog a community dedicated to the love and appreciation of all Bulldog breeds, we also hope it can be a support system for all Bulldog owners. That being said:

If you could give any advice to a new or future Bulldog owner, what would it be?

We would love to hear from our experienced owners, so please leave a comment below with your advice and, if possible, a photo of your Bulldog!

Of course we welcome questions from potential owners as well!

I’m curious to see if the advice changes depending on the specific Bulldog breed or if the advice is fairly universal.

Welcome to r/bulldog!

Hey everyone! I'm u/Wombat_7379 (Myrna, English Bulldog), and u/namelessghoul29 (Rocky, English Bulldog) and I are the new moderators of r/bulldog!

This subreddit is for all things Bulldogs - from English to French, American to Olde English - we welcome any and all Bulldogs!

Since the previous moderators were no longer active, and the subreddit has become a bit bogged down with spam posts and irrelevant content, we gave the subreddit a bit of a makeover. We thought it would be helpful to give an introduction to some of the changes we have implemented.

UPDATED RULES:

  • On the sidebar of the subreddit, as well as the new wiki page, you will find the revised subreddit rules.
  • The wiki page is especially helpful as we provide "Moderation Outcome" info. Meaning when a rule is violated, you know exactly what to expect from the mods.
  • Here is a link to the Rule section of our Wiki page

POST FLAIRS & POST REQUIREMENTS:

  • One of the BIGGEST things we fixed was no longer requiring "r/bulldog" to be in the title of your post. In fact, it is forbidden!
  • We also added a whole slew of new post flairs!
  • For clarity, here is what is required to post on r/bulldog. Posts should include:
    • Original photo(s) or video
    • Detailed information if asking for advice
    • Appropriate use of paragraph breaks
    • Context if making a statement or linking an outside source (no link only posts)
    • English only

NEW LOOK & USER FLAIRS

  • We updated the subreddit banner and avatar!
  • We added some "widgets" to the subreddit sidebar, including a section for related subreddits!
  • We created User Flair templates that you can customize to fit your Bulldog's name, breed, or anything unique about you that fits the sub!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Rocky's mom (u/namelessghoul29) and I, are very laid back moderators who have experience modding together. Our goal is to make the subreddit enjoyable, spam and bot free, and a place where we all can come together and share our joy and love of these amazing dogs.

Feel free to introduce yourself in the comments, share a photo of your Bulldog, or drop a suggestion for what you would like to see happen with the subreddit.

As always, you can message the moderators privately via Mod Mail if that is your preference.

Caught this hilarious video of my husband and Myrna. He didn’t know I was recording so please forgive his language 🤣 he was just being silly.

He is quite the character and does these random and wild “skits” all the time with Myrna. They are the best of buds.
